Day 17 update...tell me what ya think!!!



DAY 17 UPDATE...ok all i have added has been 1 tsp of ff root juice, and 1 1\2 tsp of grow big. i have two questions, first question is at day 21 of my grow when i start fd nute sch,do i start at week one.so even though im at week 3 do i start off at week 1 on FDs guide??? and also on one of the plants i see what looks like white tenticles with small amounts of crystals on them can someone explain this to me please!!! i also added some cfls dont know if this good idea or not.....checked ph in soil today all was about 6-8 to 7-0 this is ok right????some was 6-5....oh and one last question do my pots soil level look ok??? sorry for all the questions,but im trying to get better at this, take as little pride in my craft....just wanna say again,afn has been great!!! and i thaank you for all your hard work and help.

also please feel free to tell me what ya think about the GIRLS...do they look to be on right path??

Your plants look good,seem healthy! I don't see why you couldn't pick up fd's nute schedule at week 3,it shouldn't hurt them. Adding more light is always good but the cfls seem a little high up in the air? or is that just for the pic? The white tentacles with crystals you describe sound like female pistils-congrats. Males will have little balls forming in the crotch between the stalk and branch stems.Soil level in pots looks ok,you can always add some if it settles too much.Soil ph sounds good and your plants look good.Good job bro!

thanks full auto...all the seeds i used were feminized, can i still get males though??? also on one of my plants i have about four tiny small dots at end of one of the fan leaves...when i added some of grow big maybe it splashed and caused this???its the bottom two fan leaves rest of plant looks great,any help would be great, i will have pics soon!also when i pick up fds nute...where do i pick up at week one???im confused,lol.his says week one ph water so on my week 3 do i start there???thanks again

maybe ill add a pinch of sea salt to my spray bottle and spray them...i read this helps also i beleive JM uses this....

yes pick up fd's sched at week 3.... plants look ok at a glance... gonna take abetter look now...

ok... they look great! :thumbs: if you relly want to foliar feed... very very very small pinch of sea salt... and if you have kelp seaweed fish fert... 2 drops... and 2 drops grow big..... to 1 qt water... make sure ph is 6.3-6.5 adjust if neccesary.... then foliar feed with that. You should turn a fan on them after foliar to promote good airflow... preferably an oscillator that makes pulses of air flow go by themm.... in the sweeping moion of the fan if you get my drift.

very little to adjust your water ph (whether it has nutes or not... yes I mean drops.. literally both for foliar... and vinegar depends on our water... add a little... mix well... ph in 3-5 minutes... do again until you reach desired ph...
in this case I'd run maybe 6.2 on your water... gently pulling toward 6.4 (ph swings cause shock and stunting... so go gentle)

I've read alot and remember seeing once in a while a male will pop up in supposedly feminized seeds.I think a hermi-half male/female is more likely IF the plants get stressed to much.Just keep your eyes open for any plants that show little balls on a stick-and i believe this can happen at any time thru the grow IF they are stressed out.The little spots could be splash from the nutes or water hitting the leaves and then the light burns the drops into the spots-just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse post a pic for help.If your using fd's schedule just pick it up at actual week 3 of his schedule-1 tsp. growbig,1/2 tsp tigerbloom,1/2 tsp bigbloom. I followed it on my first grows of cobra and pineapples and i like it. I do remember Muddy saying he personally doesn't start bloom nutes until week 5-6 and i may try that on my next round. Having a schedule to follow when your new-which i am-is nice as you don't know whats the best for your plants.The more you learn thru reading and trial and error you'll be able to branch out on your own and develop what works best for you and your plants. Looking good bro,don't stress too much your doin fine.This is a huge learnin process!

White distilled vinegar, not apple cider. Good pH for soil is 6.3.
