No problem, we've all been there at one time or another. Since autos have such a short veg period I feel it's imperative to get them as big in veg as possible. Even though they sex at 3 weeks or so, those first buds you see are really just pre flowers. They won't really grow much till after week 5 or 6 or until vertical growth stops. That's why I recommend staying on veg nutes till then. You can switch earlier and your plants will finish faster, but you will lose out on some yield. Here's more info:

i was asking about the whole nute sche....i know you dont like to start till week five they are all starting to sex, white pistols, fds sche is week 3 im getting mixed reviews on when to start and im a little confused...sorry just feel so overwhelmed:(

How much will depend on where the pH is to start with and how low you need to make it. I would start with about 1 tablespoon per gallon, check it, and add more if needed until you get it to the desired level.

also if i want to lower my soil ph...i add vinegar to gallon of water, ph the water and then in the plant correct??? about how much vinegar???

Does anyone have a good link for the proper way to set my negative pressure system.using inline duct fans I'm pretty sure but don't feel comfortable yet.any help would be great thanks again.hope everyone is having a good one

New fans on the way does anyone have any ideas on keeping tent cool.if I open door and leave open doesn't this increase my chances of unwanted pest???

Passive air intake is basically just holes in your cabinet/tent-no intake fan.

Negative air pressure is basically having more air going out than coming in. It is more important when you are trying to control smell than it is when you are trying to control temps, although it is not completely unimportant then, as you need fresh cool air to replace the hot exhaust. I am not aware of any ideal flow chart for it. I just figured for mine, I didn't want a want a larger intake area (holes) than I had for exhaust. So drilled a 4" hole to match my exhaust. It wasn't quite enough to keep the cabinet cool, so I added a 4inch computer fan for intake as it moved much less air than my my exhaust fan does (maintaining negative air pressure).

I had a real heat problem in the warmer months with my cabinet as it is an unairconditioned building. I could not go with a larger exhaust fan due to noise considerations, but that would probably have largely resolved the issue. My solution was to freeze several 1 gallon milk jugs filled with water and rotate 1 or 2 of them into the cabinet as needed to cool the cabinet down, this made a difference of up to 10 degrees F, which was enough for my needs.

In Theory leaving the door open provides a greater chance for pest to invade, but I would venture to say if you have those kinds of pests in the building that houses your grow tent, keeping the door closed is not going to keep them away from your plants.

My2cents,hope it helps.
