Dutch Passion Budster's drobe: Blue AutoMazar LST under 180W Hans panel LED

Howdy @dirty budster brother hope your keeping well? Sorry im late to the grow.
Bit of a slow start but looks like shes starting to take off now

Hi @sanguine nice of you to stop by, I'll be swinging around your thread at some point, unfortunately I completely lost track so I have to figure out a good starting point. Did you recently start something?

I'm doing pretty well actually, I've been making good progress with the Lyme/Bartonella treatment with antibiotics and large amounts of cannabis oil  That's actually the reason I built this second setup in addition to my SCROG, so I'll no longer be limited by how much I'm able to grow. At the most I've been consuming around 5g of bud a day combining vaping and oil and that quickly burns through the stash.

Recently I was back on the mountain bike for the first time in many years, that was fucking awesome. I still have a ways to go as the joints are still pretty sore and the muscles a bit weak but I still managed to pop a couple of wheelies, stoppies and bomb down a few stairs. I felt like a kid at christmas, couldn't stop smiling. Warming up with some nice sativa, AutoEuforia in this case, didn't hurt either :smoking:

Day 41

She made good progress in the last few days, a noticeable amount of stretch. She's filled up a good portion of the drobe already and she's looking healthier every day. She really seems to enjoy the feedings so I will continue with a pretty aggressive nute schedule.
I still see a bit of yellowing on the new growth that I'm not sure what it is. The closest looking thing I found is Zinc def. That's normally caused by overwatering or wrong pH. I always check pH and I've usually fed around pH6.6 because the soil is around 6.3 according to the bag. I don't believe I've been overwatering but it's tricky to tell because with this big pot you can't tell by the weight so easily since it's already pretty heavy dry.

Since Zinc is better absorbed at slightly lower I pH I dropped it to 6.4 for the last feeding. I might try going even a bit lower next time. I also increased the light power to 60W and raised it a little to 42 cm as she's starting to get bigger and healthier so I think she can take a bit more. I'm still running the light in veg mode, which means less red. I'm not sure when to switch it over to flowering? I suppose an increase in red would increase the stretch but I'm not sure if that's necessary as she still has a bit of growing to do and the space is 60-70% full.

Anyway, enough of my rambling and let's get to the pics:

Still a bit of yellowing on the new growth.

Im still journaling in the wilma grows thread. Dont worry about catching up the threads too long.
Thats great you got out on the bike mate- that really put a smile on my face.
Plants are looking great- theyll grow through that paleness in no time

Day 47

Growth has been a bit slow. It seems like the light is still too close. I've been upping the power and raising the light to try and figure out where I need to be in flower. Apparently I didn't raise it enough as I started seeing yellowing on the leaves of the ABBK as well. It looked like it was stretching a decent amount so I thought I was at the right height. I also noticed that the small BAM I planted as a back-up was pale and stripy looking. I'm 99% sure I will let the bigger BAM finish out though, I'm mostly keeping the other 2 to gauge their response to the light so I don't have the same problem next grow.

It has to be the light since I'm using the same soil (from the same bag), same nutes and schedule. The only difference is the light. The odd thing is at the moment I have the light running at 75W, now in flowering mode, and it's 54cm or 21" away and that seems to be in the ballpark where I need to be. In my other tent I'm running the LED at 120W, 30cm away and those plants look fine. This also implies that at full power I will need to be something like 80 cm or 31" away and that seems very far for a 165W LED but maybe it's really that much more powerful than my old light. I guess I will see once it really starts to flower.

Yellowing on the new growth

This looked like healthy amount of stretch to me, would you guys agree? That's what fooled me into thinking I was at the right light height.

She's doing decently well under the circumstances, still a bit pale.

New growth still yellow.

SCROG tent day 40

Luckily my other plants are doing well. Looks like they'll all be fast finishers, which is nice considering the BAM is going to go long. Even though they're a week behind they're still much further along in flower.

looking sweet mate good job. the buds are coming;)happy growing

I've recently switched to Hans Panel 180W and have been having the same yellowing on new growth problems as you are having. I also felt (and still) feel like a complete beginner again with this lamp. It definitely is the light.
I haven't been able to use the lamp at 100% because it's eating away the chlorophyll...currently trying to grow Jack47 under it. I'm hoping to be able to get more than 40% on the dimmer...until now every time I upped the dimmer more than 40% new growth is affected.
