Howdy @dirty budster brother hope your keeping well? Sorry im late to the grow.
Bit of a slow start but looks like shes starting to take off now
Hi @sanguine nice of you to stop by, I'll be swinging around your thread at some point, unfortunately I completely lost track so I have to figure out a good starting point. Did you recently start something?
I'm doing pretty well actually, I've been making good progress with the Lyme/Bartonella treatment with antibiotics and large amounts of cannabis oil That's actually the reason I built this second setup in addition to my SCROG, so I'll no longer be limited by how much I'm able to grow. At the most I've been consuming around 5g of bud a day combining vaping and oil and that quickly burns through the stash.
Recently I was back on the mountain bike for the first time in many years, that was fucking awesome. I still have a ways to go as the joints are still pretty sore and the muscles a bit weak but I still managed to pop a couple of wheelies, stoppies and bomb down a few stairs. I felt like a kid at christmas, couldn't stop smiling. Warming up with some nice sativa, AutoEuforia in this case, didn't hurt either :smoking:
Day 41
She made good progress in the last few days, a noticeable amount of stretch. She's filled up a good portion of the drobe already and she's looking healthier every day. She really seems to enjoy the feedings so I will continue with a pretty aggressive nute schedule.
I still see a bit of yellowing on the new growth that I'm not sure what it is. The closest looking thing I found is Zinc def. That's normally caused by overwatering or wrong pH. I always check pH and I've usually fed around pH6.6 because the soil is around 6.3 according to the bag. I don't believe I've been overwatering but it's tricky to tell because with this big pot you can't tell by the weight so easily since it's already pretty heavy dry.
Since Zinc is better absorbed at slightly lower I pH I dropped it to 6.4 for the last feeding. I might try going even a bit lower next time. I also increased the light power to 60W and raised it a little to 42 cm as she's starting to get bigger and healthier so I think she can take a bit more. I'm still running the light in veg mode, which means less red. I'm not sure when to switch it over to flowering? I suppose an increase in red would increase the stretch but I'm not sure if that's necessary as she still has a bit of growing to do and the space is 60-70% full.
Anyway, enough of my rambling and let's get to the pics:
Did a bit of LST today to open her up.
Still a bit of yellowing on the new growth.
