I got strange problem, I have some auto buds under led light and they look excellent, like on pictures from seed bank, but after harvesting they dont smell. Can someone advise what could be a problem?
I was thinking the first maybe too much plant food.
what other thing can be a problem?

Genetics is always a possibility .. might not know exactly what I'm talking about, but a good cure def can help bring something out of some smell less buds .. imagine there's ton of possibilities

@temple_of ,@Townbike is correct and just about the only thing you can do to bring out the smells of a bud that has just been harvested is to cure it. What happens when you cure bud in its simplest terms is that the starches in the plant break down into sugars. If you can imagine the difference in what a potato smells like vs say a strawberry that is what you are trying to do is break that potato down into a strawberry. The ONLY way this can happen is with time and proper storage, if you need help on how to cure ask away

The majority of strains I have grown have ended up fairly low odor to the end. I grow with led lights and whether that factors in specifically, that I don't know. I have fairly low sugar output as well, but my stuff always has an excellent burn rate. Quite a bit better than dispensary grade.

Cure, cure, cure. I cant stress that enough, and i have found that drying in paper bags also helps rather than the hang dry method. Some genetics are just this way like the others have mentioned. The best way to bring it out is a proper dry and cure. The longer the cure the better its going to be, i have some stuff that took months to cure right once it did smells were off the charts.

I am just afraid to try curing, I never did it, just I am afraid I will do something wrong and I will damage it and all will be useless.
