A little something to report : Northern Lights & AK 47 Auto's have broke ground. Also, the 2 Photo's; Widow's Breath & Afghan Kush have broke ground. Their little Helmets are just barely above the soil. Had to use a magnifying glass to see them but there's no doubt at all. Too small to take pics yet. Probably be big enough by the weekend. Hopefully the other 4 come up soon.
Gave them there 2nd feeding today at 1/4 strength. Each plant got about 6 oz. in the centers & another 12 oz. around the outer edge of the pots.
The Big Bud Re-Veg Got 3/4 gallon of week 1 Nutes. It's still dripping some but I'll transplant into a bigger pot this weekend. It should start growing in the next 10 - 14 days.

Whoo hoo ... Got home from work tonight & 6 have broke ground. Just the 2 that are cross bred haven't popped yet. Maybe tomorrow. Couple of days & there will be enough of something to take pics of.

After a better look this morning only 5 have broke ground. 2 are getting close as I can barely see the seed top coming up & 1 isn't doing anything yet.
Anyway, here are pics of the 4 that broke ground on the 3rd. Pretty small so not the greatest pics.

7 out of 8 have broke ground. The 8th one (N.L. x Critical 2.0) hasn't broke ground. I dug around a little & found the seed & there is a tail so it should come up soon. Sure wish my camera took better pics. Keep saying I'm going to buy a new one; but somehow buying & upgrading my equipment always wins when it comes to spending the money.
Going to lower my lights this weekend & considering adding the Viperspectra 450 Watt LED to the center of the tent & the small Humidifier to bring the RH up just a little more.
My temps are staying 77 - 79 so I couldn't be happier as this is the 1st grow in 2 years or EVER that I've been able to accomplish this. However, my RH is staying 50 - 55% & I would like to increase that by 10%.
The Re-Veg is starting to show little nubs on the stem. Another week & should start seeing a little growth start to happen.
I'll add more pics this weekend when I have time to take them under normal lighting. Wish I could get good pics with LED's but haven't been able to. Thinking I should put a couple of Clip on lights with CFL's that I could turn on just when I want to take pics. Another project for this weekend. At least I'll have it all dialed in to the best I can get it before the real grow starts. I don't really consider this part a grow. It's just germination to me. The grow doesn't start til they're above ground a few days. I usually start my 8 - 10 week countdown for auto's 1 week after they are planted so that would be the 8th. So for me 6-8-19 is the 1st day of my actual grow cycle. I do this because I have a bad habit of harvesting a little to soon. If I don't count that week of Germination things come out better. I still go by the orange hairs even though I do have a digital microscope & Lupe.
Thinking I'll try out the microscope this grow as I haven't used it yet.

Sure wish I could make this more interesting. Never done a journal & I don't have the Gift of Gab so not sure how to go about it. I'm more of a couple of friends / keep to myself type of guy who avoids large crowds. More of a listener than a speaker. With that being said.... Any advice on things I should include in my journal would be helpful. Maybe by my 2nd one I'll figure it out .... LOL.
Right now I'm just kind of reporting anything I'm doing with the plants cause I don't know what else to write.
Should get somewhat more interesting when I can talk about each plants development in about a week when things start to happen.

Here we are at day 6. So far all the seeds have broke ground. 2 plants (the cross bred ones) are still under their clear solo cup domes as they haven't shed their shells yet. They are all pretty small still. I'll update with pics after I transplant the Re-Veg tomorrow.
I have a question : Has anybody grown using just the Veg. Switch on their LED's during Veg & only the Flower Switch during Flower (With Veg Switch Off) ?
I have always kept both switches on during the whole grow. This time I was trying it the other way .... unless someone advises me not to. LMK guys what you think.
Don't want to mess up my grow.

Removed all the Co2 set up since my temps aren't high enough. Also removed the Kessil COBs & put the Viperspectra 450 watt LED in. Those COB's work great in a 4' x 4' but in this 5' x 10' it's a different story. Just not bright enough for that much open space IMO.
Thinking about putting the Kessils in my 2' x 4' x 5' tent in my garage & then that would be hot enough for Co2. Do a little Mini SCROG in a 2 gallon pot in that tent for shits & giggles. I have everything I need to do it. Just got to make a spot in the garage & set it up.

Dont worry dude I dont get much traffic on my grow either but this is probably because I dont really comment or post likes on other people's grows as I just like to cruise through lots of grows on here trying to pick up little things I can add to my grows so if you want more people to take a look and comment then you probably need to be commenting on other peoples grows and then they will check yours out, also maybe start adding a few more pics

I had a Viparspectra 900w (actual about 400w from the wall) before I upgraded to qb's and I used to run just the veg light in veg but in flower you have to use both, well this is what Viparspectra recommends anyway :smoking:
