Well here are some pics of the pots I'm growing in clearly labeled. Also a pic of the Nutes I'm using at this stage. Just sewed the seeds yesterday so nothing has popped yet.
I gave them their 1st feeding which was 4 ml. Grow A & B, 2 ml. B-52, 4 ml. VooDoo Juice, 4 ml. Piranha & 4 ml. CalMag Xtra per gallon. pH'd to 5.8 & each plant got 12 oz.
I've always thought that putting your support sticks in later damaged the roots & slowed things down. Not sure if there's any truth to that but it's what I'm thinking. So I decided to put the sticks in now so the roots can grow around them. I'm one of those guys who will try just about anything to improve his grow.
OK...Pics...

The Pot that's not Labeled is the one I just harvested. It was a Seed Stockers Big Bud. I got 5.5 oz. dried & trimmed. It's my Re-Veg & the Pot isn't marked because it will be transplanted from the 3 gallon pot to a 6.6 gallon pot in a week or so. Once it quits leaking it will start growing again & I'll transplant then. Here's some pics of before & after I harvested it.

Hmmm, Just had a thought. When you chop a plant down like I did after a day or 2 the cut branches all started leaking fluid. I wonder if what I'm looking at is the uptake of nutrients that would normally be going to the branches & leaves. Makes it kind of interesting when you think of it that way.

OK, I think I found settings I can live with. Tent is staying 77 - 79 F with 55 - 60% RH. I like the RH a little higher like 65 - 70% during Veg. but this should be just fine. Guess I wont be needing the Co2 after all. Expected much higher temps so thought I'd need it.

No, just got a good deal on it. A buddy works at a Hydro Store & this came in with a bent up flange so he ended up getting it free. I bought it from him for $100 & straightened it out & it works fine. Where else can you find an 8" x 40" Phresh Filter for that price New ? That size would be closer to $300 or more. Couldn't pass it up. It does suck a little harder than I'd like; but that's because the MaxFan has a built in speed controller that only goes L / M / H & even on low it's a little too much. Wish they'd put Variable Speed Controllers on them. Tried hooking up a Variable to it but it hums a lot so took it back off.
Anyway, nothing new to update today. Seeds haven't broke ground yet. Probably in the next couple of days. Usually takes 3 - 7 days for me to get sprouts.

Planted the 8 seeds today & gave each 1 - 12 oz. cup of 1/4 strength nutes through out entire pot. Seemed a little light so didn't just water in the center. Just adding enough to keep the Coco a little damp.
Hi!
Intresting journal i am learning so much but i have to ask. Are you planting you seeds and then giving them som nutrients? If so is this beacuse you grow in coco and not soil? I keep reading that you shouldent give nutes until a couple of weeks into the grow.

In Coco you give Nutes every time you water. Never just plain water. I start out with 1/4 strength of what the bottles say. Every 2 waterings I up the strength by 1/4th until I'm at full strength. If the tips of my leaves start showing yellow or brown the Nutes are too strong & you have to lighten up the dosage. It's a Nitrogen Burn on the leaf tips if that happens. I always give Full Strength CalMag because Coco uses it up quickly. If you start seeing Reddish Brown Spots on your leaves you know you need to up the CalMag.
The longer you grow & the more you read about others grow struggles the more you'll learn. Grow Weed Easy has a great section on plant problems & how to remedy them with lots of pics so you can identify your problem or at least narrow it down. It's not a Forum where you can chat. It's more like an information type site.
Anyways, my Coco was still a little moist from flushing it to pH 5.8 then pouring a Gallon of CalMag Water through it so I just planted the seeds about a 1/4" or so down. Waited about 24 hours & gave each plant a 12 oz. Cup of my Nute mix at 1/4 Strength. Tomorrow they'll get their 2nd dose & on the 3rd feeding I'll increase the strength.
It's different with Soil. Especially if you use something like Fox Farms Ocean Forrest or Happy Frog Soil. I use to buy a bag of each & mix it 50 / 50 to grow in. You don't even need any Nutes if you up-pot every 4 weeks. That soil has all you need in it already & you can do an entire grow without Nutes with it. All you have to do is keep your water at about 6.4 pH & you might want to add a Teaspoon of Molasses to a gallon of water & feed that to your plant once a week. Molasses is full of good stuff.

Ahhh, I think I see something starting to break ground in 1 pot. Take a better look in the morning with a Lupe if it isn't up by then. Sure hope so. Getting bored waiting to get rolling....LOL.
Tell you what Folks .... Big Bud is some Good Chit !!! I like the way it creeps up on you little by little till you find yourself staring at the walls & saying WTF just happened.
Picked up another cheap set up today for $50. Figured I could use it to start clones. Got a VivoSun 2' x 4' x 5' tent, a 450 watt Viparspectra & 150 watt LED, 2 Clip on Fans, 2 Timers, Humidity & Temp Monitor, pH tester & some other Misc. Figured it was worth $50 all day long & would work great for clones so I bought it.

Well my tent is staying at 79 F with 50 - 55% RH. I'm thinking about adding my small Humidifier also. I think that might just put me at 77 F & 60% RH which would be as close to perfect as I could get. Nothing to lose so try it tomorrow.
