I can see great things are going to happen here... Get ready for some large and dense tops with that flame thrower you have... Great investment. I love mine...
Yup started out feeding a 1/4 strength with just the base nutrients after the end of week one. I'll be keeping my feed at a reduced amount throughout the grow since theyre in a soil-less media and I'll be feeding every watering
Hi Bolio
I grew out some Dark Devil at the start of the year and the purple colours are killer.
Smoke taste a bit like a fruit pastille if you get my drift.
Im subbed for the rest of this man, great job so far i look forward to more.
Looking forward to seeing how this turns out! I'm always interested in the more colorful varieties, as I've never personally gotten to smoke or grow them yet.
Ive kind of been neglecting my own thread here. So they're 30 days night and pretty much right where I want them to be. Ive been pretty busy lately thought and havent had time for training and such. Ive just been keepin them nicely groomed and pruned and makin sure all the lower branches are getting plenty of light. I'll just throw one picture on here because its pretty much where they're all at, some lanky some pretty stocky the way I like
Also had a pretty large mold exposure. Most of the surface on several of my plants had fuzzy mold growing across the top.
To treat it i vacuumed the top layer of my medium off of all plants in the grow room including the unaffected plants and then replaced it with fresh sunshine 4 advanced. This occurred the day after a feed so I let my plants dry pretty thoroughly for a few days. To follow up I gave a foliar feed with some Serenade and when I fed today I did my normal feeding except I added Actinovate and left out my myco.
So if anyone else ever struggles with mold for any reason, this approach worked really well for me
Been 16 days since I posted on here with pictures and updates so here it is.
Plants are kickin ass and doin their own thing and I've been workin and doin my own stuff so they've been a little neglected but, they don't show it. Tough little things and stinkin and growin. My mold situation got handled in just a couple simple treatments with almost no stress for me. I've got a few green Dark Devils and I've read that when they throw the green pheno, they are really something special. My purple plants are extremely dominant and impressive flora. I simply do not have the time or the space to train them but they are still coming long great. I only defoliate at this point just to allow light in.
So here is my green DD:
side branch
And this is my favorite purple:
these two pics are of the split lower branch
