Bubblegum today is suddenly showing deficiencies. To my inexpert eye it looks like nitrogen and calcium.

I think I might possibly be seeing the begininng of a natural fade (with the exception of the brown spots). And I think I should begin flushing it soon. I dont seem to be seeing the buds getting much fatter, but there are still swollen calyxes further down which I think will bud up. Not sure. I think I'll feed at least once more with a higher dose of MC and CalMag.

Here is an interesting shot of an affected leaf on the Bubblegum taken on my phone through my loupe.

Day 60 for White Widow and Bubblegum!
IMG_20190610_120453.jpg

Last night I gave the Bubblegum a flush, then watered with Kelp meal tea with CalMag. Then all the flowering plants got a kelp meal tea/CalMag foliar spray at lights out.

The Northern Lights is looking really great lately. It's really responding well now to the (low) level of nutes it's getting currently. It stretched a bit now is busy filling out its colas with lost of flowering sites.

The Northern Lights is starting to show some brown spotting / yellowing of a few seemingly random leaves. I bumped up the nutes from 2g/G to 3g/G of MC to see if that helps.

This below is my first ever successful clone! The cutting was taken from a Sky Dweller, a lower branch while the mother was being mainlined. It was out into a Rapid Rooter then into a cup, covered with another cup to keep humidity up, then left in the tent with the rest.

And finally for now, I managed to get one good, clear close up shot of the Bubblegum through my loupe, and I'll be darned if I don't see some amber trichomes in there. I'll have to take a closer look at the plant again, it may be a trick of the lens?

Yuuuuup!
I took another look, and even though I had been looking closely, and often, before and never saw any, now I'm seeing amber trichomes everywhere!

The WW and BG both have approx 5% amber trichomes, by my estimation. None on the NL yet. I guess I had to train my eyes to find them, but now I can easily find them using my $9 jewelers loupe. (https://amzn.to/2WGDfXY)

So my plan is to let them keep going, and aim for that two week flush. I think I'll end up pretty happy. The WW is quickly putting on some purple color and is getting frostily beautiful.

I'm having trouble deciding if I should chop the highest colas now on these two plants. I do plan on doing a staggered harvest.

First, the Bubblegum :

It seems that most to all of the trichomes are cloudy, with maybe around 5% amber. This is a Sativa leaning plant, so I'm thinking of letting it go just a bit longer.

Next, is the White Widow:

This one has more thoroughly cloudy trichomes, and also around 5% amber trichomes. This being an indica leaning plant I think it might be time to harvest some in this one.

I'm thinking that running a staggered harvest would help to mitigate any loss I might get from harvesting a bit early? I'm hoping to get a nice indica high form the WWz but a more cerebral high from the BG, so we have a nice mix of meds form our first round.

I'd appreciate any guidance that anyone could offer. Thanks!

I personally would take the tops from the WW in a week, the BG I would be thinking 2. But I like them fully ripened. And still do a staggered harvest, I’d be in plain water for the WW and start for the BG next week. That BG looks to be bulking up and the WW hardening nicely. If they are still drinking they are still growing.

Thanks for the feedback.
I've noticed that the WW seems to be drinking much less. For a while it was drinking heavily - would be much lighter the morning after feeding. Now it's been 2 (or 3 - I'll have to check my notes) days and the pot is still heavy.

It's harder to tell with the BG because of the larger container, but it seems to be drinking a little bit more than the WW, but not much.

Both plants seem to be slowing down (or stopped) their growth, but my eyes are newbie eyes and maybe I'm just not seeing it. The BG's colas have been fat for a while. The WW is quickly getting some purple coloring. Both are starting to get autumnal coloring.

I'll keep observing and water with RO.

I checked my tap water again, and it's not good. 172 ppm /.36 EC.
So, I mixed up some RO water to feed the girls.
I'm going to give the NL MC @3g/G with BE @ 2g/G, plus 5ml of CalMag, and feed once or twice more the BG and WW with just BE @ 2g/G and 5ml of CalMag.
Not going to bother flushing now, unless it's recommended at this point...

I suspect there is a buildup and/or a low pH problem causing lockout. However, we are near the finish line and I just need to keep these girls happy.

After this run, I'll be going organic. Have my SS cooking right now. I'll get into the constituents soon.
