The fine folks at Sweet Seeds have dialed their genetics in solidly...:D: I'm glad to hear things are off to a fine start here, Ms. Blue,... fingers crossed for the,..ahehhemm, other reluctant one....! LOL! :Stones slap:..... more good Ju-Ju and :karma Cloud: for ya here, too....

Yes Waira!! ^_^ C'Mon!! hehe

The sweet seeds were blazingly quick out of the coco, I think that's what concerned me about the "other" one lol, If it were a speed race, I think these Black Creams are the quickest germers i've ever had ... but it's more of an eleven week marathon, so we'll see what happens.

I've had my eye on Missis black Cream and it's a bit of monster so with a bit of luck I'll be struggling with a budding jungle in about seven/eight weeks.

:D: Ayuuh! That Mississ is a savant! Swampy and me are in awe of her grow Voodoo...-LOL!!..... This strain seems to branch out into bushes very nicely, and consistently, so in all likelihood you too will have this good problem later! :wiz:

<-- True, dat!....case in point, my first Red Poison germ'ed within 30hrs, made just above the surface, then stopped cold right there; I waited and hand-wrung for 2 1/2 days, but she didn't grow a mm more, or flip her cotl's over, nothin'.... weird!

Wich Coco do u use? I always get my ph on 6 on Coco.
Butt i dont know The strain u are growing, dont get expierence with it...

Hello Nik :)

I use canna coco plus with about 30% perlite.
I follow the hydro PH range for uptake (also on the canna grow guide) http://www.canna-uk.com/growguide ... don't follow that feed schedule though - its for photo periods. I'll pick it up at 1/4 strength at about week 2 and then build up slowly to half strength for when flowering starts and gently see how far i can push it.

Canna recommends 5.5-6.2 .. but i get the jitters at 5.5 so i go 5.6 - 6.1

Edit: To be honest Nik, i don't know the strain either - pretty much every grow for me is a different strain so it's like starting growing for the first time every time ^_^ exciting and nerve wracking!!
I just stick to my known nute uptake ranges - i have some charts if you would like to see?

Hello blue, I use b'cuzz coco substrate I really like it & my plants love it to.
My fruits and vegetables love it also, the do it a lot better then their bro's & sis's on soil.
Ok I'am going off topic.
I also got the table from canna coco, butt I made my own version for the auto's.
SO I only use it one time a year in my photo summer run.
A friend off me (also grow shop owner) have give me some products from bio nova specially for auto's
So my next big run I gonna do a part my normal nutes & the other part on the bio nova nutes.
First gotta finish this grow that is running at the end, I calculated a month wrong so my sweet mango & Pineapple Express are out growing my grow room :-s
Also I use the pk13/14 a lil different as the schedule butt it's such a wonderfull nute...

Hey Blue and Waira! I with you on the SweetSeeds quick germ, had my first Red Poison cracked and out of the dirt in under 48hours. The Black Cream is TALL maybe the tallest plant I ever had. Starting to bud now so we will see what she comes up with. Thanks for kind words! :Thank You:

Hop digity. Subbed here too! Individual journals for each strain ... not a bad idea!

Hey blue do you think hydroton also works in place of perlite to aid with aeration? I am asking bc I have a photo (dinafem blue thai) that I want to grow as a mom in coco and I already have a ton of clay pebbles lying around!
