Bromeo, I like how the fuzzy boas work! If I'm going to try this, I need to do very soon, but first must decide which young'un to torture... It'll have to be one of the Sweet seedlings, as the HR autos have shown sex the earliest I've had yet, 3 weeks...everything else was about 4wks... the generation of decent side branching is my main concern about if I should even bother,...but nothing ventured, nothing gained... She looks waaay better too! Nice tune-up mate...:High 5: Hmmm, time to go contemplate a seedling's possible demise, or success!

I'm not to sure yet doobieousashvessle. I like the way the fans have naturally bent out of the way of the colas. I think I'm going to let it lift itself so it will start to bush out. This is the stage that i usually stop bending and let em stretch for a few days to see where they want to go.

You don't have tto wait till they show sex to lst them. Its just a rule I follow but some strains take longer to sex. If that's the case i go ahead and bend um before they show sex. If it turns out to be a male a just it chop and never tell anyone I tied up a dude.

I was more concerned about having time to bend and grow before they sexed and started to harden off lower down.... my problem outside is, well, you've seen the runts I have, and the mono-cola build,... not much to work with! maybe.... I was hoping for better response from that shop light I'm using to give them some extra light at night, but it simply isn't intense enough apparently,... On the other hand, what few side branches develop could be coaxed bigger....

Bro'meo} I went and do'ed it last night! -LOL Of the three, it was the GhD/C99 that was most pliable; the other's stems were iffy, at least for my first ever try... The RP 's have thicker stems for their size vs. any of the others,... have you guys noticed this on yours? Anyway, I took some stiff, narrow garden twist tie, custom bent and angled the stem side, and sharply bent back the bottom end to make a barb of sorts so it stays well planted in the soil... also took a cue from your sideways pot posture, and steeply angle my pot to get the tip to grow kinda sideways as well... So far it's working,...now to see if those side branches take the hint!
