Update for the Biotabs girls. 3 x ShortStuff Gorilla OG and a TSE Gorillagasm. Sorry I can’t bring myself to write the full name of that company!
I gave them a little trim down below [emoji23]
Seems to have perked them up a bit. One of them has decided to start flowering for some reason. I suspect that when I transplanted them to the final pots I pushed this one down a bit too hard and basically stopped the roots going deeper. Maybe? So she’ll presumably yield about a quarter [emoji23]
Took some of the massive fans off the Gorillagasm as very little light was getting to the lowers. Looks odd but it should really help.
I’m pretty shocked at the root development! Within about 5 days of transplanting there were tons of roots poking out of the bottom of the pot. I have been adding a bit of organic root juice to them so with that and all the besties in the coco it seems to be working well.
I’ve upped the ph of the water I give them a touch as they seemed pale and I reckon they were struggling to uptake something from the coco? They are definitely responding as you can see the leaves have started fading in much darker. I’ve only ever ph’d one tank of water before this grow and not had pale plants before like this. So maybe the lesson is don’t bother ph’ing the water! Muppet [emoji23]
