What do you all think? @Fitzy @Couch_Lock @Dreminem169 @twentyeight.threefive @thedailydose @St. Tom

I will use my new ec and ppm meter this evening as I will fed either every day or every other day,
Looking good. You should start a journal and post stuff like this there. It'll help keep this thread clear for coco growing tips. Then tag us there and we can continue to help.

Hello All-

Today the ladies are still growing strong! I upped their feed from 2.5 grams to 3.0 grams of MegaCrop. I used my cheap ass ppm tester and it said 1100 after I added nutes to the water. New to this coco thing.

They are 30 days old today.

with megacrop @Nosias @pop22 @bushmasterar15 @Dabber are all clued up on it they would be my go to guys bro but they look fine to me

1100 ppm??? you added 3 grams to how much water? Notice the tips of your leaves, clawing downward, that is a sign your plant is toxic form too much nutrients. I can't translate grams to ppms but I and many others here use a MAX of 550 ppms! I'd flush the medium with plain water and lots of it! then feed a low ppm feeding 300-400 ppms.

@pop22 . Thank you for responding. 3 grams per 1 gallon of tap water left out. Do you really think next watering in coca which is tomorrow just give them ph’d water and no nutrients?

Thank you both. @Dreminem169 @pop22 . I know I’m being a pain in the ass but this is confusing. I am increasing feed little by little and as Dreminem169 mentioned I am in 100% coco. In soil you increase the feed gradually as you know. Not sure what to do. To me they look great

Check the scale on your meter when it was reading 1100. Most meters can toggle between ppm and EC.

If that's on the ppm scale it's way too high of a feed. That's 2.2 EC! Also note if it was on the EC scale that's just 1.1 EC, my cheap meter doesn't have the decimal either, that's why it's important to know which scale you are reading. The highest I ran MC 1 part was 1.8 EC and even that was probably a bit high for my plants. Usually ran 1.6 EC max.

Just remember more isn't always better. My current girls in flower are doing fantastic on a 1.2 EC feed. Good luck!

As stated above me the tips clawing down is a sign of nitrogen toxicity. I constantly ran into that with MC 1 part and was most of the reason I stopped using it. It's still a great easy feed but you have to be careful.
