best yielding strain of these two?

The problem I discovered once I got a 10 gallon tall filled with soil, is that it would have been super easy to tip over. Especially once you had a large plant in it. So I ditched the idea for the time being. I may put one outside with a pepper in it or something to see if it will tip.
I'm sure there's some kind of way it could be rigged to not fall over.

I made a wicking pot out of two 5 gallon buckets, and the tall 5 gallon bags will fit perfect. If it works its a lot cleaner setup to deal with after harvest.

I’m sure there is. My mind has been too fried lately. I’ll revisit the 10 gallon tall when I have a little more space. It’s at a premium lately.

Or to have the air-pruning of the roots benefits of the bags along with the advantages of rigidity, perhaps consider Air-Pots.
I’ve never looked into air pots much. Are they generally taller than their fabric counterparts?

Sorry- didn’t intend to derail this into a tall pot conversation.

I was going to try those tall grow bags, i'm surprised they arent more popular.
Think about the size (circumference) of the plant...a tall bag will take away from the height, a wider bag will still be smaller than the canopy size of the plant. The 3 gallon buckets I used still had a lot of space that could have been taken up by roots..granted, I had to fert them as the HF nutes were used up. But until I see a root bound condition caused by a 3 gallon, I'll stick to that as my biggest indoor pot.

Is width definitely more important then height? Only asking because I'm new to this. Is it fact or debatable? I think my wording in the beginning would have gotten me a mouth full of red pepper as a kid.

LOL, all our conversations are "pot" conversations. :smoking:
