I believe that the seed sinking means water has penetrated the shell.

Yeah it means the shell has split and is ready to deploy tap root. Some shells are harder than others, soaking in water rather than in soil softens them quicker imo. I've had 100% success this way.

Just a quick update as I've made some decisions. Going to risk it with this grow and go with a new nuts range. Still waiting on my grow nutes to arrive but here's what I will be using.

Day 5 for the toof decay, she's moving slowly for me, I've never used a pot this big before so I suspect there is a lot going on under the soil rather than on top, and I'd happy with that, big roots =?
