Indoor Autos in Organic Soil with Tap Water

Day 54/42/36/30 - GC/LZ/LC/? - LZ schwazz #3, LC pruning/topsoil, and trainings
  • Hope everyone is well :baked: Health struggles and other challenges have kept me busy but the current plants are okay:

Day 42 LZ…schwazzed again and removed more small branches for environmental reasons:

Day 36/30 LC/?…pruned these two a lot to keep them open and apart, and added topsoil for stability:

Day 60/48/42/36 - GC/LZ/LC/? - LZ prune and schwazz #3, LC/? pruning and more training
  • Day 60 GC…finishing fast this time:

Needed to drop the RH about 5-10% in the tent again, so we uncomfortably chose violence for the veggers again, and it took about 2 hours to do it:

    Day -/-s and 31/35 - old CC/LC seeds and GC/LZ New
  • Got got a few things going in the 4x4 and dropping some pretty old seeds:

2x -Several year+ old: (LC) Equilibrium Genetics’ Lion’s Claw F3 regular, non-feminized autoflowers, which I have two going down for the 50-50ish gamble…took almost a month to sex last time:
    IMG_20250210_182445012.jpg

1x -2021, based on the package: (CC) Humboldt Seed Company’s Caramel Cream F2 feminized autoflower:
    IMG_20250210_182431969.jpg

They had an overnight soak with some peroxide and water in a covered coffee cup in a warm place:
    IMG_20250210_182339753.jpg

Started the CC in a small soloish-size cup of Roots Organics Lush and will transplant at ~10-14 days into a 5g SIP of the Lush. However, started the LCs in 2.5qt nursery pots of Lush to try to sex them in there first before transplanting them to the 5g since it took so long previously and they’ve been 100+ day plants in the past anyways:
    IMG_20250211_104059022.jpg

On 18/6 with the 300w light at ~75% about 3.5-4ft away and ~70ish F and mid-low 50s% RH. We also have a 31 day Dessert Seeds’ Gelato ‘N Chill (GC) autoflower that was topped and had the bottom node removed on day 20, after being transplanted day 11 from a cup; and a 35 day Dessert Seeds’ Lemonz (LZ) autoflower that was topped and had the bottom node removed on day 24, after being transplanted day 15 from a cup into SIPs :baked::

Day 0s/1 and 36/40 - old LCs/CC seedlings up, and GC/LZ pruning New
  • Happy Sunday folks...the LCs (one with a helmet I’m helping off with drops of water, time, and a pick today), and the CC, are all 3 up within 48 hours of each other, after about 4-5 days in the soil from overnight dunks:
    IMG_20250216_064020244.jpg

The LZ and GC are thriving and I periodically removed some stuff this week for airflow and structure; and also dumped a gallon of water in the SIP reservoirs once for the GC and twice for the LZ this week when they were empty and the buckets were lighter…turned the 300w light up to ~82% about 22” from the taller LZ today:

    Day 5s/6 and 41/45 - old LCs/CC, and GC/LZ more pruning New
  • Happy Friday folks :toke:

The large 45d LZ and smaller 41d GC were trimmed some from each a few days back for airflow and structure:
    IMG_20250218_074735001.jpg

    IMG_20250219_080532560.jpg
    IMG_20250219_080543518.jpg

…and had to trim a bunch more off the tall LZ today for airflow:
    IMG_20250221_073941897.jpg
    IMG_20250221_080814196.jpg

..., and will probably strip a lot more off the squat GC in the next few days (it is turning into a dense bush):
    IMG_20250221_082453324.jpg

The 5 and 6 day old LCs and CC have just been doing their thing:

Day 44/48 - previously topped and bnr’d GC semi-schwazzing/LZ New
  • The large 48 day LZ continues to chug along and is still stretching a little, so I moved the 300w light up a few inches and have it at ~60% now and also turned on the 260 watt flowering light next to it to ~60% as well...with lights on/off roughly low 70s F and high 50s%+ /and high 60s F and high 60s% RH :
    IMG_20250224_080603578.jpg

The squat 44 day GnC was too uncomfortably choked-up and not wanting to stretch enough so I gave it an ~80% schwazz for airflow and structure:

    Day 15 CC transplant New
  • The 14 day LCs are doing well but they are staying put in the small 2.2L pots until sexed but it was time to transplant the 15 day CC from the cup to the 5g SIP with Lush, and I watered it in with about 3/4g of water around the top with a sprayer. I am not using aerators anymore in the SIPs since with transplants I don’t bother filling the reservoirs until buckets feel lighter these days (trying to simplify growing more if possible and minimize humidity issues and mold):

    IMG_20250302_084635416.jpg

The big 51 day LZ and the squat 45 day PG are doing well and both will probably get another heavy leaf stripping in the near future for space/airflow:

    IMG_20250302_082104279.jpg
    IMG_20250302_082223216.jpg

The LZ tops have a little light stress/deficiency/early fall colors, or something but I’m not too concerned at this point:

Day 55 Gelato N' Chill and more schwazzing New
  • Happy Friday folks...I stripped the Day 55 GC about 11 days ago but it was getting too thick so I removed the majority of stemmed leaves throughout the canopy again for airflow:

    IMG_20250307_112431879.jpg

The 19 day LCs aren’t quite showing their junk yet, and the CC transplant is doing fine (haven’t touched or watered it since up-potting)...I also squished most of the CC I had left curing in anticipation since it’ll probably be an ~80-90 day plant and I need to make room:

Day 23 stunted Caramel Cream topping New
  • The 23 day CC I transplanted (on day 15) appears a little stunted this time from what I believe was a combo of late transplant/inadequate watering-in at time of transplant, and it got a little jacked up into early flowering. Regardless, I decided to top it because if it remains stunted I don't want a traffic cone of a bud which is what happened a couple years back when I stunted two of these and one got mold because they were too thick, so no worries but 🤞:
