Beautiful Plants.Quick question on those trichome pics.What device do you use? Those cheap loupes combined with my poor vision and shaky hands aren't cuttin it. Thanks.

If you have trouble with shaking hands, theres cheap microphone stands you can get on amazon, just set it in there and position it where you want. I just wear gloves and I jam that microscope right into the side of the bud with one hand and steady it with my other while the phone is in my hand. Sounds more complicated than it is. Got some great pics, doesnt hurt the buds either as long as you wipe the guard on them down before.

Thanks, WT...I try not to buy much these days since I can grow simply and indefinitely with things I already have but a USB microscope, and microphone stand that can hold it, are definitely beneficial for checking trichomes, leaves for bugs, etc. I got ones similar to these for about $50 total a while ago:

If you go this route, you may want to get a wireless microscope...wish I had one that autofocused ; and you should measure the height and reach lengths on the stand for whatever location you will be using it in with grown plants, fwiw.

Thanks...yeah, I really hate buying more future trash for the world but they do help a lot ...I try to think of it offsetting all the packaging and burnt fuel that I avoid by never going to a dispensary again (not to mention all the upstream issues ancillary to commercial, from their stuff)

I think as long as it has a use and gets used its good.
We dont have dispensaries over here but totally agree, anything commercial or industrial has a massive cost, you can't get more local than home.
My brother in law's partner got a UK prescription and I was disappointed, it was so harsh even in the vape...
