I would start with 10 Autocobs in a 5x9, but But buy 12, they ship in 4's well. If you put 12 in 5x9 keep them 36 inches away to avoid light stress. I have NEVER removed lights from an area until I got a bunch of Autocobs. 5 Autocobs in a 4x4 is Max light I would ever run. You will be surprised how strong they are. I have like 8 or so in a 6.5x6.5 area and the buds in the shade look as good or better than the buds under the lights.Do you plan to fill it with plants? I am very happy so far with the large frame I built with the autocobs next to it. Lights never light a square and with large dimensions like 5x9 you would definitely need multiple lights. Something like that may work best for you. I have also lit larger spaces than that but you would need 12 cobs in total. I would recommend cobs to anyone and everyone looking to maxamize yield and quality without having the draw you would with leds and hps.
