Well if it is cheap land you are after this is the cheapest, it is in fact how I landed in the San Luis Valley. I googled cheap land Colorado and now here I am. Just to give you an idea acres go for about 800-1000 dollars round here
Wonder what it would take to rig up just the single Aquavalve to a large tray system.I'm also looking into doing some sort of custom autopot setup with coco or automating my watering setup a bit more. Was thinking of rigging up my 55gallon reservoir to run/pump once a day for 15 minutes to the pots. If done right I should only have to fill the resivour once a week and not have to water 2-3 times. Plus it allows me to leave my house for a long weekend. Any thoughts?
Just to add my $0.02 worth here. The "Almost done" is an unbelievable deal. I don't think you could buy all the parts yourself for that price. Then all you do is source a driver and you are good to go. I am doin 4 cobs per 4x4 tent. I am looking into some supplementary lighting, especially the flower initiator with the far red.For me it's always been about the yield and how much it cost to grow it. I have been through dozens of lights and always bought what I thought was the best. Sure a grand or more is a lot for a light but when it pulls 1-2 lbs grow after grow the purchase price really doesn't matter. The singles are the cheapest way to get into a pre made cob. This has worked out much better than expected with dozens of repeat customers buying them at their own pace. A few just wanted to try the cobs. They did and came back for more. Others have done it slowely as funds permitted. Then guys like @wwwillie who tried buying me out in a week.
The almost complete is probably the easiest way to get into a diy'ish light. It's simple when the cob is attached to the heatsink with paste, screws and holder. Sourcing parts and paying shipping through multiple companies, buying paste and wasting hours at the hardware store lol. For 50 dollars it's been a hit. To answer the question I'd consider some of the almost complete for large areas and supplement with the autocobs. As mentioned in the other thread with Derek the singles always have a place. Just about everyone could use an extra cob or two. Especially one that hangs in seconds and is fully adjustable. My 4x4 has 4 autocobs. My 4x12 has 8 almost complete cobs in a frame and 4 autocobs. Still working out the new setup but it seems to be working great. I wouldn't recommend buying a dozen autocobs unless you have multiple smaller spaces like @slowandeasy. How's your cobs been Rip?
This is no joke. Where I live it's fairly expensive but the next town over where I work lots of land 1/8th- 1/16th acres have sold for well over a million. That's on the coast. Inland 1/8th usually sells for 5-6 hundred thousand.Well if it is cheap land you are after this is the cheapest, it is in fact how I landed in the San Luis Valley. How far are you from Alamosa? I've got a friend up there and also family in northern NM. My two year goal is to save up for land and solar panels and move out there. AZ is great and all but I love Colorado, I so want to move up there and get out of the rat race
bigsmo would u recommend ur auto cobs for a 5x9 tent? if so how much?
