One Autocob per plant is how I grow. They are extremely bright lights. As long as the lights are directly over the plants in an open room, I don't really see much of a problem. I've seen a couple open room grows.
Hey @BigSm0! Just wanted to give you an update on my grows with the cobs! I've been averaging 8 O's per grow, and just started my 4th grow! These things rock, and I'm so glad I stumbled on this thread almost a year ago!

Reduced customs fees. There are plenty of knock offs but the only good one comes from the USA. Shipping is higher than I’d like but with the current sale price and additional 5% Afn discount shipping it helps a lot
Legalizing marijuana is being voted on in Michigan here this year so if it passes I will always rock my old school 1000 watt magnetic ballast. I won't ever mess with digital ballasts as I've heard they constantly break or cause problems with ir interference or whatever it's called. So I rock old school reliable. But if weed doesn't become legal and if I ever lose my grow card I would buy these lights to grow my medicine to be more stealth and lower cost on electricity. Very cool light by the read and people I've seen using them and talking about them online. For now I'll rock my switchable 1000 watt ballast with metal halide and high pressure sodium light bulbs since I'm legal and need powerful lights. Have read so much good and heard so much good about ceramic metal halide lighting also. It's supposed to be the closest grow light that replicates the suns spectrum.
