Lighting AutoCOB 55 Watt COB LED Grow Light

10 ANS???? pleurage!!!
Quantum Gro-Board - 320 - HrX Set 's – Lientec LED (lientec-led.com)

10 YEARS???? crying!!!
I spent 25 years under HPS... now I test quantum boards and COBs. The QBs I'm not convinced... with very good quality Lientec 240w LEDs, the production is good but NOTHING TO DO with my HPS 400w... that's clear!
Quantum Gro-Board - 320 - HrX Set's – Lientec LED (lientec-led.com)
Where my HPS 400w works, I harvest almost 380Gr in coconut substrate. With 250w LED (which seems to replace a 400w HPS???) I'm very far from 380Gr So I try COBs (I opted for Cree 2520 with cheap 50w driver... 5 cree 2520 is close to 250w ... I'm waiting to see if the result is better!?!? But for me 250 LEDs are not better than a 250w HPS) it will never come out 380Gr under 240w LED... If I arrive in QB at 300Gr it's already GOOD!!! But never 380Gr... a 400w HPS only costs 15 euros per month. But brings 380GR while a 250w LED can't do it ;( So if I have to mount 350 or 400w of LEDs, I might as well put my 400w HPS that she doesn't hesitate!!! And comes out with beautiful productions with huge buds!!!LEDs are cool but for me it's also that...simply NICE!None... AND saving 10 euros per month does not change much in the end. I just hope that my new COB 2520 will manage to convince me??? HPS.... alas. Because I paid 240euros for a single custom Lientec 120w panel... 450euros for the 2 panels hurts your ass...while a 400w HPS kit costs 80 euros!!!!!!:(

I put a photo of 2 plants under 400w HPS...
they are not small, the guitar case behind is 1.20m, each plant was around 1.50m and carries almost 185 Gr each...
we see the 2 huge plants under 400HPS... and the other photo under 240w LED, it's pretty, it's fun, it's economical... but it's FAR from being HPS!!!!

Iol HPS is pointless.. Ive used both extensively and the new led technology destroys HPS in every way. My 5 55 watt cobs will blow a 400 watt hps out of the water

Hey, we only allow posts in english, even if it's not your 1st language (you're just not going to get much help otherwise because of the language barrier.) There's numerous translator softwares that exist that you can use if you need help :vibe:

What a nice intro!

Well I'm sure the cob nuts on AFN are familiar with cobs and cob tech, for those who are not.

Efficiency is a direct relation to how much useable light is generated per watt of electricity. The autocob is low wattage with a very high amount of photons which grows plants.

The single cob idea was designed to get an efficient light option into nearly every grow space. These fit in the smallest space, but also allow growers to slowely increase the number of these until they hit their goals.

Made in the USA! Designed, built and shipped from the USA.

This might be perfect for my needs this Winter as I'll be needing to move my outdoor grow indoors...also, I'm unsure of which of my random bagseed hemp(/mj seeds?idk?) seeds from my trim bag will be able to tolerate this Fall&Winter outdoor Cold/climate in Southern AZ.

I hope the Disabled/Elderly patients I'm growing for this grow-round appreciate whatever quality comes from my grow with/or without a complete-grow kit/lights system. And no nutes either, my disability benefits mainly go feed the Life Forces of my [Also Disabled((-w/Fibromyalgia))] partner, daughter, 4 dogs, 1 Mother-in-law, and 2 cats; idk if I can afford nutes yet since their survival is more important on my list so far.

I love the idea of these lights! I really like the concept of COB lights over regular LED's for some odd reason. As much as I want to try and support an AFN member's small business, my lack of resources might keep me from trying these COB lights...unless the prices are similar to the other typical bar-style LED's...we'll see their performance reports someday...I wish I could do a side-by-side test of COBs on one side of a 4x4 and regular LED's on the other side (unless I manage to opt in for 8 foot in-length grow tent) of such a tent in December. :D

@BigSm0 is MIA so autocobs are currently unavailable

Oh, seriously? Quite a bummer. I hope he's alright? :?

Guess I'll have to look for other lights if anybody knows if you can actually get high quality buds from low priced LED's or if I'll truly have to pay more for actual high-quality buds?
