it depends on the type of animal, the havalina seem to ignore it and seem to not care about people they will uproot peoples home gardens at night, but it works well for deer and elk and several other scavnging type animals that will eat your grow.

that would suck deer tend to be one of the top seedling eaters.

MMMM venison now im getting the munchies lol

Today I cleaned the Hydro Unit and changed the water today the PPM of the water before nutes and PH balancing was 100pp, we then added 320ppm of our nutrient mix to bring the total ppm to 420 then the PH was adjusted to 5.8 Hydro Unit holds 7 gal so we change it on a weekly basis and adjust PH and ppm on a daily basis

just poppin my head in to check on ur progress... my diavolo showed its hairs today...

very nice I cant wait till mine show me what they are, the tallest ID is about an inch and a half tall the other ID is a couple days behind it, and the two AHKs so far are about an inch tall and are starting thier third set of leaves all of them have roots hanging into the water out of the net baskets, they are coming along very well.

here are a few pics

The first pic is the oldest ID the others are Auto Hindu Kush, The roots systems of the AHK look bigger than the ID but the ID seems to be bigger above ground. the last pic is a pic of one of the cloches I placed over my outdoor seedling, inside there is a small dark bottle of water that serves as a radiant heater to warm the seedlings. Tonight the temps will be dropping into the 30's and will stay there untill Sunday, hopefully they all do well.

Noticed a little bit of hook leaf on the smaller Il Diavolo it seems to be a lot less tolerant of the nutrient levels than its larger sister, who is thriving with the current nutrient levels, as are both AHKs. Given that they are all in the same resivoir it looks like the only way I can adjust it so that they will all be happy is to cut down the time the water pump is on running the side sprayers, I adjusted it from on 15 min off 45 to on 15 min off 3 hrs this should allow the net baskets to get conciderably dryer and increase the air supply to the roots and hopefully the smaller hookleafed ID will get happier. Both of the AHK seedlings that were arching thier stems are now above ground and spreading thier seed leaves
edit: lowered ppm to 320

i just gave the girls their first nute boost yesterday and the smurfberries loved it and perked up but the ID didnt really respond well to it.. even at a 1/4 the dosage but all it did was curl a couple of fan leaves but it didnt burn her. i think im goin to just feed her every other time i water

yea when I boosted the nutes up to 420 one of the Auto Hindu Kush phenos really really liked it that nute burst seemed to kick it into overdrive, but it hasnt slowed a bit when i lowerd the nutes to 300. but the sensitive ID seems to like things best in the 200ppm range

have been maintaining temp in the high 80s to low 90s F
PPM is currently at 300
RH is at a constant 40% (inside an enclosed box with lots of evaporaton inside a closet. gotta love the desert, no matter what you do with good air circulation youll never get humidity above 50%)

Ill put up some new pics soon
