What's up AFN,
Thank you all SO much for the complements. It wasn't long ago when I was drooling over posts by all of you guys before taking the plunge into growing myself. I'm so glad I chose to make this my hobby. The entire process truly gives back much more to me then simply something to smoke. All I can say is, it feels like such an honor to get compliments like this from the people who I consider some of the best growers in the world. AFN provides such a great community of members to discuss growing with.
Even living in a legal state, you'd be surprised at the large population of people who still oppose the right for people (of legal age) to enjoy marijuana recreationally, even when following all local laws.
By the way, the app you see me screenshotting is Botana. It is a free app which allows you to journal a grow. Super easy to use and does what I need. I'm horrible at keeping paper notes, and they don't include pictures. At the same time, I wish it had better photo sharing capabilities, and it's camera sucks. If anyone uses an app they're really happy with, let me know! I'd like to give more a try.
Time for another update:
* She is still growing vigorously, sometimes 1 - 2 inches a day. She currently stands at 34 inches (86.36 cm) and doesn't appear to be in a hurry to begin flowering; but is starting to stack, which is always a good sign.
Feeding schedule:
- Drinking about a gallon of filtered tap/rainwater (after all, I live in Oregon) water a day, more when it is hot.
- Reservoir Temperature: 67 F (creeps up into the mid 70's when it is hot, trying to think of a way to combat this problem while I'm at work)
Nutrients:
1. Roots Excelurator Silver @ 1.1mL/gal
2. OSA28 @ 0.5mL/gal (foams, but doesn't seem to cause any problems)
3. Ionic Grow @ 15 mL/gal
4. Orca
Auto Glueberry OG (Day 42):
Oregon Outdoor 2017 (plants are on day 86 from breaking soil, aka. Root Riots):
[HASHTAG]#TrainGame[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#MainLining[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#Where[/HASHTAG] ya gonna grow your 4 plants?
* I must give a HUGE shout-out to Mendo Dope for both their music and their How To Grow Mendo Dope series (on YouTube). Their tips and methodologies have saved me years of failed attempts, to the point of being able to grow trees (hopefully, we will see!) during only my second outdoor season.*

@2Stoned2Care : I threw some pics up in the hopes that maybe I'd get a few views, and I now have some of the best growers on this site to help me out. You rock! When it comes to cloudy/rainy days, you may even have me beat. Haha I believe we had a total of two sunny days from between October and March. Darkness is depressing, weed makes it better.
@derek420colorado : Thanks! I've heard bad things about Yield Lab ballasts and bulbs, but they have done nothing but perform very well for me. Although, I've never run a grow under double ended Gavitas, so maybe I don't know what good lights can actually do. Haha
@Fairlynew : That's a bummer. I've heard horror stories about slugs destroying entire crops, fortunately ( knock-on-wood) I haven't experienced a problem with slugs at all. If I do, I'll probably try bait or some sort of powder I can place around my Smart Pots.
@Slater : Thanks man. The backyard was the selling point for me as well! I could never go back to living in an apartment/ area with no grow room. As much as I love growing indoors, there is something about growing outside which I love.
@DutchPassionTony : You mentioned luck... Lets just say, when growing DP luck is unneeded, and typically results in plants which end up outgrowing my grow space. Monkeys could produce pineapples with your genetics. Luckily I now have an entire room and garage to play around with. Thank you for your dedication and hard work when it comes to breeding. We all know how easy it would be to chuck pollen and produce seeds. But, I know when I grow a seed from you I can put all of my energy into one plant because your breeders work hard to provide a level of genetic homogeneity in your strains, which is extremely rarely seen in the cannabis world. I'll try my best to show off what you have to offer!

@A-Train : Without sounding like too much of a groupie, your AutoUltimate x2 grow was the reason I decided to give growing a try. Your ease at explaining what you did, and how simple it was, made the decision a no brainer when buying off the street was $400/oz. Without the support of you guys, there wouldn't be fight. I would have given up long ago.
Damn marketing and cool strain names. I need to do AutoUltimate next. I feel there is no comparable auto at the moment. If anyone disagrees, please let me know the strain and a way to get a hold of some seeds!
