Depends on how you look at GMOs, in a way all life on this planet is gmo, but taking in account a very precise process of manipulating genes(which is actual "GMO" label) done in labs, I suspect no cannabis plant is gmo yet.
But it has potential to be a useful practice also in canna plants.

BC Buds claims to be raising GMO plants, and I suspect a couple others are. As there is no regulation to the canna seed industry, who knows what some of these people are selling. If you are suspect about any particular strain, I'd write to the breeder and ask.

As long as any genetic modifications made are intraspecies I don't have any major objections, I won't be buying any said genetics but it doesn't pose the risk of interspecies modifications.

BC Buds is completely full of shit and are money stealing compulsive liars. They not only don't have GMO pot, all of their pot is a rip off of someone else's hard work and does not perform as advertised. You would be very wise to steer clear of them.

As far as GMO products go, there is not a whole lot of evidence to say they actually harm you. Don''t get me wrong, I'm against GMOs being used without labeling so the user can stay informed, but it's not like it's going to kill, or even harm people. Be careful where you get your information from, many hippie publications are very anti-science and use psudo-science bullshit to back up their claims. Remember, published and peer reviewed with replicable results or it didn't happen.
