Totally agree about the red poison man. Like I always say, their my ornamentals.

I just recently nabbed myself some Cream Mandarin from sweets as well. I'm way to stoked to pop em once the tent empties out. I wanted to do one now, but it seems that the free space I had somehow became occupied by a few tomatoes, and what appears to be a mystery squash that came out of a pile of compost... That reminds me, I need to speak to my wife about this.... I believe some rent is in order...

Yes thank you! Sweet Seeds really did a great job on this one, and it grows without much effort or difficulty either It's just a gorgeous plant! I mean it would be amazing even if it weren't Cannabis. It reminds me a bit of Purple Passion plants, of which I've been growing for years just because it looks so darn cool. I haven't pushed the limitations of it's feeding acceptance either. I'm at full strength now (with the adults) on the General Organics GO Box, and I think it would take more! Of course it's near impossible to burn with organics anyways, but I wll absolutely ​be buying more of these seeds and next run I'll be really pushing it harder. I also think it could use a bigger container than my 3 Gallon. Just looking at the overall size of the plant, I can tell the roots have made it all the way through it. Anyways.. Lol

Hahaa it's kinda late for outdoor tomatoes and squash so I guess they'd have to be indoor, I have a late run tomato attempt outside not going too great. But threw down some various lettuces and they're doing fantastic. I had tomatoes and peppers in the tent for awhile with matching ones outside, the tent ones didn't fare well... Ended up taking em out.

Cream Mandarin is certainly on my Sweets list, as is Black Cream. The genes are the best I've had yet, so I bet the rest of the catalog is just as fine. These Red Poisons could do well outdoor I bet, and have good smell stealth.

Well the overall hue of the Red Poison is changing, and she's starting to tell me she's going to be ready soon the lower pistils didn't purple much like the uppers, going straight to orange. I have a strange suspicion that the RP becomes more purple /red /pink with the led lights. The top cola is right under the led and purped up. Also, see KylieKay's RP under only a Vipar led, and is mega purple / red, almost black. It could make sense that the plants would produce more pigments to reflect light colors which they need less of, remember that colors our eyes see are actually the color wave reflected or refracted off of a surface. So, it could be possible, that a plant hit with more purple or red light like from an led, could produce more pigments to reflect some of the unused or unwanted purple or red light, thus appearing purple or red to our eyes. Just a theory I've been having. I'd like to run RP again under only led to see if it produces more color.

Anyways, on to the happy pics, just a small update today. Everything else looks about the same, just bigger lol.

Alright, Sweet Seeds, you have a customer for life hah! The RP is really changing fast now, even overnight as you might notice. Half the fan leaves are about toast, even some of the smaller ones are turning. If I were hurting for herb it could totally come down now with no hard feelings, but I'm holding out for at least all of the fans to be gone and all the pistils to be turned. I would guess this will be in about 7 days or so at this rate. Who knows though, I'm just going with my gut feeling at this point. I was concerned about the trichomes changing fast, but what the heck.

Hey thanks! Yeah I do put some love into them At the moment I'm just kinda planting as room provides, no real set order to it. Even though everything in there is widely varied in maturity, there's actually just 3 stages right now:
1: the Red Poison, Bubblegum, and Blueberry
2: the Grapefruit, Pink Lady, and another Bubblegum, and a stunted/failed Red Poison lol
3: babies: AKR and Blue Dream.
But once the big Red Poison, Bubblegum, and Blueberry clear out, I'll have a Dutch Passion AutoUltimate and Heavyweight Fast and Vast to put in Which by some accounts could basically take over the whole tent lol. So I'm just clearing out the adults now as they're ready. Should be cleared out about the time the AutoUltimate and FnV get bushy lol.

Aw man I had a good breeding idea that was kinda going ok but I couldn't seem to make CS right, despite doing all the right things I think lol. I have a cutting from the big Red Poison and the big Bubblegum, I was trying to reverse the BBG cutting and pollinate the RP cutting. I still have the cuttings half alive lol, and ordered some Tierias Mist (spelling?) since I can't get CS correct yet lol. But, I'll probably start fresh sometime. I think the Red Poison and Afghan Kush Ryder might make nice growing, good looking, and strong medicine but I need a few more RP's to select a reallllly red or purple pheno.

I also have a long term strain idea that will take a couple years at least lol. It's still just in my head, lets hope I can get to it before someone else does lol.
