I'm back on track. To many forums and to many threads lol. When is the next grow off? I really think I need to enter one to help shape me up. It's nice to see 4 good growers a couple weeks ahead of me. It's like a crystal ball in growing.

Yes they are healthy. Being new to the strain I'm just a little on edge. I'd be letting down an awfull lot of people if these didn't pull serious weight.

To be honest, I wasn't thoroughly impressed in the beginning, like everyone else. That has changed. HBSS are straight beast!

As for another grow off, idk. I dont meet the requirements for the official grow battle page. I just started a thread calling anybody and everybody to a challenge. It worked out nice. 5 growers. I get to see how mine is performing along the vets, without bouncing around from thread to thread.

You are going to get some huge girls with your set up bro!

Phew!! Yeah slow start is no joke. Idk I'm day 22 and they are moving but moving slowly. I do have a minor Nitrogen deficiency. Tonight I'll give em a good feed and water and hopefully that's enough to lite the fire under their asses. Yes the thread looks great. I caught it 1/2 way through and been trying to keep up to date. I think @derek420colorado is down for a grow off. Maybe some others but if not I'll still be happy. Great plants and a great audience here on afn

My last run was a little messed up. I had 13 plants in my very small veg room. They grew straight up and were very thin. Once I had room I took them out and they bushed out nicely. They ended up being just over 5 feet tall when they finished stretching. With some massive 1.5 oz dry buds. I look at these and my hbbs and wanna cry.

No yours are much better off than mine.
You think so? A couple of them, sure, I agree.looking at your last pic update on Wed. Which would make them day 20, I believe, a few of them look great to me.
Either way, it's a minor difference. Once the stretch comes...

I also have had N deficiency, in all new growth. I chalk it up to the rapid growth. She's gaining an inch a day. I normally use GO calmag, with no N in it.
For the last few feeds, I have used technoflora majical 2-0-0. I have noticed a nice recovery, so far. She is darkening up nicely. The very tops are still a bit light though.

Yeah, those look serious!
It's gonna be tough trying to outgrow those monsters.

Are your Amares on veg light, or have you switched to bloom as well?

They are beautiful and perfect. Is this your first hbbs grow? It should take some trial and error. I have mainly grown Dinafem strains in the past and now that I seem to have them under control I'm changing it up. I fed these above 1600ppm every 36 hours. They were thirsty and hungry.

Yes I have the cobs on. Which I started early but they didn't seem to mind to much. I actually swapped the center uv bulb out for a 6500k for the first 3 days on the seedlings before I flip the monos then around day 15 or so the cobs come on. But the surrounding LEDs I leave on full cycle. They seemed to do well. Much better than anything else I have used and that's a lot of lights lol.

This is my first run with any Mephisto.
I am a new grower. I have 6 strains, and about a dozen harvests to date.
My best being Jack Herer @6.5 oz. Im praying this HBSS can top that. With the size of the bud sites it's not looking likely. They are tiny in comparison.
I don't have a ppm meter. I try like hell to read the plant. Still so much to learn.
