@Akaz - DOH! I totally forgot to put that stuff down!!! Right now im confined to the closet Theres just no room anywhere else so I just cleared a corner of my closet for these plants. The only thing is right now I had to jerry rig everything, basically I bought some mylar to reflect the light, but I didnt think of buying any clear tape or anything, so pretty much theres a bunch of blue painters tape holding it up. LOL. But it works!
I can fit 4-6 8and3/4ths pots in the corner of the closet with just enough room for those side branches to grow up the wall.
Also using Roots Organic soil. Ive had some pretty good results with that soil, but Im running low so I might try something else.
A buddy of mine is trying to set up a hydro tank. When i looked at yours I was like "he has to see this"!

Good Luck with the Afghan Kush Ryders. My 5 (AKR) ladies are approaching the 56 day mark and are going strong. Got my seeds from Attitude as well. My shirt was not as cool tho. I got a Jimmi Hendrix not authetic number. Thing that mattered most was the seeds arrived. Good Luck with your grow!! By the way I used the Roots Organics 707 formula. A bit on the Hot side I have learned.

Did you have any trouble with your AKR's, coszumel? Like did you have to feed it more or less, or just do what you do normally? reading about it it doesnt seem like a really temperamental plant.

I had a little bit of canoeing to my leaves but thats about it. I am a noob but thank to alot of help from cool cats on this site I was able to make a pretty suiccessful grow to date. Will keep a keen eye for what kind of size you get out of yours.

nice strains. my paki ryder didn't really fill out much, but that's because it was in a 1 gallon pot for so long. covered in triches though

Hey thanks for checking my stuff out! Haha... yeah I dont have too much space, so I am hoping to get some decent sized chunky afghan kush ryders! I'm still trying to figure out what soil recipe to use.. I was thinking perlite, promix and vermiculite.. have you used soil recipes which require no additional fertilizers? Just watering them with pure distilled water?

Also, what are you using to balance your pH? I wish they sold products here in Canada more often. I've only found 1 hydrostore near my house but I cant bring any with me back to the other city where I grow (im a university kid and getting a ride from my parents, dont want them asking why I have soil and nutrients!!

And those damn square plastic planters are pretty bomb.. I cannot find those anywhere locally!!

One more thing, what are you going to do about the dankity dank smell? Are you planning on making a carbon filter somewhere?

Based on your experience, would it be good idea to grow 2 afghan kush ryders in 2 x 10" pots? or 2 x 8" pots? Could I throw in 3 x 8" pots for my 2 x rubbermaid grow box stacked on top of each other? Im pretty sure theres enough space vertically, but horizontally... ehh I dont know what size pots to put in there... I'm gonna buy 3 afghan kush ryder seeds from World of Seeds and this will be my only time able to grow before school ends in end of April.
