Indoor AB Fills the Tent!

Awesome. So macro mode on the camera (I have that) plus flash, plus a bit of post processing (zooming and cropping) and good to go.

Thanks bro! :)

And getting an LED flashlight/torch in on it really makes the trics shine brilliant like diamonds.
"AFN smoke out"

I have no doubt that the AFN Party Bus would descend on it like a plague of locusts and reduce it to stems and sticks within minutes. :Haha:

Waira my friend, so sorry for the delayed response. My life has been a bit of a sh!tstorm lately, but things are getting back on track. I have some harvest action to share, but I will save that for another post. I will do some detailed smoke reports with pics later, but I have some impressions on those that have been chopped already.

So, the Durban Poison. It's been curing for 13 days now, and is just starting to regain some good aroma. No cat piss at all, and the fruitiness really isn't there either. More of an earthy, herbal smell right now. I tried a small sample that was dried but not cured, and to be honest it didn't blow me away. Given the structure of the buds and the genetics behind the strain, I was hoping for a nice sativa hit. But it ended up with a fairly generic balanced high. I have three half gallon Mason jars stuffed full, so I am hopeful that it comes around during cure and develops into something a bit more enticing. :dunno:

The Amnesia is now at 31 days of curing and it's excellent. The almost acrid lemon smell has subsided and become more of a general fruitiness, though it still hits you with a citrus smack when freshly ground. The flavor is amazing with a richness that's almost like eating a lemon cream pie (vaping, not smoking). The vapor just expands in your mouth and lungs and instantly begins having an effect. Fairly balanced with some sativa mind boosting properties, but still retaining a nice body stone. Very impressed with this one.

The Syrup is 19 days into curing and just gets better with age. The aroma has matured even more towards a spicy mix of dark fruits. Nutmeg, cinnamon, clove - all mixed in with a touch of dried black cherries or raisins. The taste is just the same as the smell, and it packs a wallop. What my buddy and I call 'visor weed'. Like an astronaut with a helmet on, and that visor is slowly closing down as you approach liftoff. Before you know it, two hours have passed and you're wondering where the time went and why you didn't buy any Doritos at the store. :roflcry:

I have not tried the Green Crack yet as it was just chopped, but I will report back on whether the effect seems short lived for me as well.

That's disappointing to here on the Durban brother but doesn't surprise me. I still have yet to find a real soaring sati auto like there parent photos :dunno: The auto gene being indy dom and dominant in general imparts a more body effect on almost all sativas its crossed with :check: Sending anti drama karma my brother and much love :karma Cloud::Sharing One:

Yeah, nothing yet has given the full sativa effect. I love Durban Poison photos, but this one looks like it won't live up to that high standard.

Thanks for stopping by, brother! They Syrup even looks delicious. I'll get some cured pics posted soon!

Thanks, EoF! :Sharing One: I have not tried either of those but have heard good things about the Claustrum. I guess I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and do a photo sativa run. My big concern beyond how long they take to grow is that around 3 1/2 feet tall is all I can handle in my space. I'm too lazy to LST but I may have to unless I can keep them small.

OK friends, this is the final update for this grow. The Mephisto Sour Crack was chopped a couple of days ago, and now I will be taking the winter off from growing. Considering the fact that this was a late throw-in plant that spent a lot of time shoved in the corner of the tent, it turned out nicely. Not huge but the nugs are very dense, so I figure somewhere around 1.5oz when it's all dried and cured. I had to go out of town on short notice last week, so this one really should have been chopped earlier than it was. Cold temps in the tent gave her some nice purpling, and the trichome coverage is amazing. The smell was fruity all the way through, but very late I started picking up more of a sour/sweet combo. Here are a few pics:
