I think to summarize, it's just bad luck and possibly something a bit out of tune in the grow environment. Certain things will stimulate plants to hermie, so naturally we can't rule that out just yet until we're 100% sure everything is correct and consistent.
Seymour is indeed right, no seed is ever 100% feminized. Whilst I personally have never germinated a male plant, that's not to say that other people with the exact same seeds may not have. Genetics can be a complex study
