Roots Orig, is it soiless or soil? Trying to figure out if I can water daily in it.

I wouldnt call it very moist. The key is feeling and learning the weights of your pots to see how much water they need. Now i agree if i was watering 2 liters a day every day no matter what, they would stay very moist and damp and probably hurt more than anything eventually leading root rot. But my plants get anywhere from .5 to 2 liters just according to how much they drink and how much the pot weighs each day when i water.

Just to confirm.... you do NOT water until you get run-off (as we do in soil-less medium like coco). ??? Instead you water, basically daily, but "just enough" to keep the Gods happy.

I'm actually going to try this Root Original+Mephisto Mix in an AutoPot. With that, I'll need to top-water by hand for the first 20+ days, but then the AutoPot takes over and the plants will drink from the bottom. Hope this pans out -- it will be the ultimate in ease.

Just found your thread, may I tag along? For my next grow I plan on using Roots Organics with the Mephisto soil amendment in my auto-pots with air-domes. Phew, that was a mouthful! That is...if I can ever catch it back in stock.

I Actually tried KS myself, and was not impressed. Stayed away from super soil since, and went straight coco. However, the daily watering and amending of feed has gotten a bit tedious so I'm gonna give GBD's mix a try. I figure if Mephisto uses it in their farm, then its gotta be doing something right.

hi Komplex...I am following same route as you exactly. I tried KS and had plants die. So I checked into how to make my own super soil and my head was spinning! So then I decided to give coco a try (my current grow) but all the nutes and PH and PPM are definitely not my style. I pay more attention to everything but my poor plants!
My next grow I am going to try GBD Mephisto mix for sure.

You got it right. Just keep the pots where they dont get water logged. If you feel them getting heavy just skip a day and a half or so before watering
