Hey just got my flash cobra seeds ( femanized ) and just started germanating them I hope my girls grow as good as urs does, I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see how ur cobra finishes up

Thanks, its actually my first grow thats made it this far and i've learned a ton along the way.My cobra stunted a little from early soil ph trouble and transplanting her in the 3rd week to try and save her. Make sure your soil ph is GOOD BEFORE you plant, its easier to fix then then after you plant.Once i got my soil ph fixed she rebounded and grew a bunch but i think shes going to be 14"-15" tall max by finish. You'll like the cobra. If you have any troubles let me know and i'll see if i can help you out. How you germing your seeds?

Pardon my mannners! Welcome to AFN! Happy to see your first post was in my grow thread. You should start a new grow log here in the new growers forum. Muddy,Joe Dirt, and Jackal are the mods in the forum and can help you out along the way if you have questions or problems. They've helped me out a bunch! You'll like it here, everyones friendly and offers advice if you ask for it.Good luck and i'll hopefully see your cobra grow in the forum!

checked my cobra tonight to see how she was doing noticed a couple leaves on the bottom fans have turned yellowish with brown tips. Also noticed some of the lower fans had very light yellow freckle spots here and there almost like the fan leaves were fading to yellow. Is this common around the 6 week mark when their budding or do i have issues? My ph runoff is holding in the low 6's and all mid to top growth is nice green color, buds look nice. Maybe need a shot of calmag-which i haven't had to use at all so far.

Yep, time to start feeding it some cal/mag.

Thanks Muddy, thought that might be the case but wasn't positive. will give her a shot tomorrow at water time.

Just a quick update on my cobra female now at day 46.Been hittin her with water every 3 days now as the pot has been light, still using tigerbloom,bigbloom,1 tsp. molasses, and some calmag to 2 liters water. The bottom few bottom leaves that yellowed have died back and some of the ones that had tiny yellow freckles haver stayed the same and haven't got worse.Must be the calmag helped. Vertical growth has all but stopped and shes a squat 12 1/2" tall and probably that wide. The buds are still mostly all white with just a few of the hairs starting to turn orange. The smell has increased to uhoh level-my poor scrubber is workin ot with the cobra and 4 pineapples jammed in there lol! Slid an ONA block in there in front of the passive air intake and it seemed to calm it down some. Going to upgrade my scrubber to a topline one next go round. The little leaves around the budsites and cola have frosted up some but not as much as i thought but still got a ways to go. I've heard 70-75 days for the cobra for seed to harvest but things need to speed up alot for that by the looks of it.I've still got 24-29 days left and 3 nute feedings before the final 2 week flush.I'm thinkin since i'm using t5s it might take a little longer, have added 2 2700k soft whites to give it a little extra light. No seed pods that i can see on her at all andi pollinated it over 3 weeks ago now-looks like i screwed that up.

Not much new going on with my flash cobra female,a few more budsites gettin some orange mixed in but growth has slowed to a crawl.3 more feedings of bloom nutes and then flush time for the home stretch. The pineapple autos that i've thrown in this cobra grow thread are all going nuts in growth at day 24 and look awesome. Unfortunately the dinafem blue widow fem i planted almost 3 weeks ago is doing crappy. All of her bottom leaves are yellowing bad and its working its way up to the next set of nodes. As soon as i transplanted her from her 24oz cup to her 7 gallon pot and her first water there things turned ugly. Not sure whats up,soil ph was a little low at 5.8 but i added some powdered dolomite to it to bring it up.Water ph has been consistent 6.5 .May have hit her with nutes too early at 14 days as thats when yellowing started.Going to stick to water for a while and see if it turns around. It was a photo freebie from attitude so i'm not worried about it,guess its my guinea pig.

Sounds like the Cobra is coming along nicely. Seems that the cal/mag was just what it needed. Can you post a picture of the Blue Widow so we can see what's up with it?

Day 48 of the cobra figured i'd throw up a few pics. I have been hitting her with 1/2 tsp calmag 2 liters water this last week to try and halt the yellowing leaves near the bottom. It has helped some but noticed tonight when i turned her in the light there was a few new ones at the bottom. The last 2 waterings water ph in was 6.4-6.6 and held a consistent 6.0 coming out which is down as its been averaging 6.3-6.4 runoff the entire grow.I've got roughly 3 weeks left till the end,the rest of the plant is fine and startin to frost up nicely. Not sure what to try next or just let it run and hope for the best.I've also posted a pic of the sad blue widow,i think shes a goner unless i can turn it around.
