This mornin was water/nute time, opened my grow door and had a small heart attack-my cobra was droopin like a wet chicken.Looked fine last nite at bedcheck. All the fans were just about touchin dirt and she didn't look happy.Hit her with 2 liters of water/ff growbig and moved on to my pineapple seedlings which were due for tier transplanting. Never done that before, usually just transplant the normal way.Runnin that razor around the bottom of the party cups made my butt pucker thinkin i was cutting my roots-which i actually did even though the razor was just in enuf to cut the cup plastic.Very surprised to see the roots had almost filled the cups at 2 weeks Popped them into 3 gallon smartpots and packed dirt around the cups.A little leary of seeing the dirt seperate from around the cup bases when i move the bag to the growroom.I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing problem having to keep packin the dirt around the cup bases every time i water or move the plants around. Guess its something new and i'm not comfortable with it yet.I do know that my little 33"x33" closet with a 22"x22" t5 light footprint is NOT enuf room for 4 3 gallon smartpots and 2 wonton soup container pots! My cobra is throwin off the heights of the rest of the plants to the lights, think i've got 30-40 dvd cases stacked under the rest of the girls to get them to the light. On a good note the cobra female did revive an hour after watering and is standing tall again, waited 1 day to long in between water and hopefully didn't stress her to bad.

Here's a little tip if your using party cups and tiering.instead of using one cup and razoring the bottom off use two cups, cut the bottom of one and place inside one with the bottom on,at transplant time just slide the inner cup out and into its new bigger pot :booya:

A few others have had problems with real low pH with FF soils. They depleted their original source a year or so back and have been contracting it out. Since then they have had a lot of quality control problems. See if you can find some Pro Mix or Sunshine Mix for your next grow.

Thanks Muddy. That sucks to hear about ff soil,i knew something must be up. My 2 new bags are light in color and look like a ton of peat mixed in compared to the old bag that was jetblack in color.I've seen the promix in HD but which kind? Looks like theres a few different ones ie. promix garden plants, promix house plants.

Today is day 39 for my cobra female, roughly 30-35 days left before chop.I have a question on nutes if someone can offer some advice. I'm using ff tigerbloom right now and the plant looks good.Should i be using something different for flower stage? Tigerbloom is 2-8-4 but i've seen alot of different ferts with the p&K ratios being much higher. From what i've read nutes should stop 2 weeks before chop and then flushing begins so that leaves me with 2 weeks of nute feeding left. Will it help put on bud weight these last 2 weeks or am i too late for it to matter? I noticed the last couple days some of the pistils are going brown or red near the bottom of the plant-the buds are still all white and see sugar crystals formin on small leaves around budsites. My garden shop does carry chaching and i think beastie bloomz from ff.Any recommendations or just let it ride? Thanks

Day 40 for my cobra.Seems to be using lots of water now, just hit her 2 days ago and she needed a drink.Gave her 1/2tsp. tigerbloom and 1 tsp. molasses tonight in 2 liters aereated water.Short little beast at 12" but i think thats my fault as i transplanted her at 3 weeks due to hf ph problems.Smells good and looks nice and i'm happy i got it this far! Had to throw some water to my 32oz. pineappe express auto as she was dry and leaves were startin to taco.Learned small pots need water more often also! The rest of the gang gets theirs tomorow night.Took a shot of my cobra for you to gander at.

Thanks boomer! I feel like a gosh darn nanny and a mad scientist all rolled into one lol. Still gotta ways to go but since i got my soil ph trouble figured out things have gone well so far. Lotta folks here chimed in with some good advice to all my newbie questions, special thanks to Muddy!
