Indoor A builders edge in grow room construction. Dream room

Hopefully not too off topic, but remembered something about the dream grow room and smoke lounge idea a couple pages back when I was talking to my brother about aquariums the other day. Had the thought that that an in wall or other nicely built in aquarium tied into an aquaponics grow system could also be a neat add. Just a thought.... :baked:

Looking good on the room and grow!!!!! :greenthumb:
Something along those lines would be amazing. It's always good to have some sort ideas like that in the back of your mind. Never know maybe I'll post a pic of this some day

It sounds cool being able to see through, but the roots can't be constantly exposed to light...

Dinafem critical and moby dick update, yesterday was day 42 for these girls . Dying to add in flower nutrients but last night alone my biggest one grew 2.5 inches. This is 2 of the 13 and shortly behind I have another 15 rapidly vegging. I think they are doing fairly well considering the calmag issue earlier in life.

Also a nice little room addition too. So sick of fiddling with the ph pen a dozen or so times every time I water or feed. Going to hang it on the wall above my resivour and at a glance should be able to tell all the specifics.

Normally wouldnt consider such a lazy option but these plants are going through 20 gallons every 2 days and everything at this point is time consuming

I have seen small little gardens with a fish tank below. I think the roots just touch the surface of the water but aren't exposed.

My thinking would be to do more of a hydroponic reservoir and grow sites type setup. The aquarium would serve as the res, and water would be pumped from it through RDWC type grow sites. With the right plumbing, tank could be on one side of the room and grow area on the other if one wanted.

The ones I have seen are more like an aero garden. Cheap little things for growing basil lol. I actually ran into a guy at the local grow shop and he has a massive few thousand 1000 gallon indoor pond almost. He breeds fish to eat and in the center he has a massive grow area where the plants live off of the water. This sort of stuff is for the retired or if you just have way to much free time. If I want fish I'll go to the supermarket. Forget the indoor pond.

It does sound cool, though. ;)

Had to take the scrog screen off. It wasn't working like I planned since the space became to small to quick. Anyways they are close to the end of the stretch so it's on to flower nutrients and hopefully some fill in a little more. Some plants on this run seems to be real lanky.

I figured 4 plants in a 3'6x3'6 would have been perfect but it seems 2 or 3 max per section is all I should do next time.
