Extraction 6 Ton DIY Rosin Press

Ok, I get that. Just wanted to make sure there wasnt a better way.
There is always a better way it just depends on your budget :crying:. If I had 4x7 plates the job would be done faster even better yet one of these:

I could press a whole harvest in a few hours..................... ah yes I am stoned. Purple Gorilla Dabs :yay:

very nice!! I just built one using the 12ton press from HF and 3x5 cages plates from Dabpress. They were on sale for 299.00 and the press was 80ish. I was using a dulytek personal press, was way too lightweight and a pain to clamp properly, plus the pid or controller wasnt that accurate.

You will love it. Once you get the pre-press and press bag size dialed in.

I am going to Dab some Green Crack I pressed yesterday right now. Then off to watch some cartoons.

yeah this little dulytek i didnt have to use bags, just a puck. still learning the little things, i love your hydraulic setup, so much easier i bet. I read your post about it being sticky, lol i can relate also first time i used rubber gloves, no way in hell those werent going to be non stick. Now I just put it in the freezer for a few seconds and its easier to work with, I use a ecig with a sai top flow atty. Ceramic and titanium wors alot better than the pen i bought, 480 deg at 20w approx.

I have a bad back and a bum shoulder so not having to pump the jack is worth its weight in gold for me! Other than that there is zero difference.
I was thinking... Don't you loose the 'touch' with the press when using an airpump? I've seen lots of clips on YouTube and others and it always sounds clanky and they seem to loose precision?

Well I got this looking clean enough and it is quiet enough that my wife has allowed it to stay indoors :woohoo:.

That is quite some setup you have there. I can understand why the missus 'allowed' you to leave it inside. ;)

The pneumatic pump works perfectly. Remember the air pressure is adjustable just like how hard you pull on the handle. I have mine set to 32 PSI and have had no reason to adjust it.

This post should be a sticky lol
