New Grower 4 plant mephisto grow NCH, MS, CDLC, DG x 3BOG

Man .8ml pH down took a gallon of 7.8 water down to 6.3 over the course of an hour. I'm going to check out much the pH varies when I use nutrients next time, and the based off that number i'll use .8ml to start from and likely go less than (depending on the swing caused by the nutrients). Is that the right logic to follow?

That said, here's the evening update, and man I love checking in on these guys. Mrs NoFrills can't get over it, and her brother, who thought autos ere garbage (he hasn't grown since reggie days back in the 90s) thanks im lying when i send him daily photos. Ended up dropping some sour crack off for him this weekend, but hes growing outdoors so who knows what to expect?!

you can see the 4 new ones coming out, on the NCH, and in the middle is another newset that has grown out throughout the day. Can't wait to see it's growth tomorrow. Mrs NoFrills wants to get a pppy, and I said wwho needs a puppy when you got these guys who love their attention and I can feed them and don't have to worry about them doing their business in their tent, haha

They are lookin good. Keep on with the pH’d water for the next week I’d say. They are still just building their roots.

Sounds good, is there a point where they'll 'show' theyre ready to bed fed, and what exactly does that look like, if so?

Yep they will start to fade a little from a nice healthy green to more yellowish. When you start to see a little fade. Feed em

Evening update. In order:

(I'm counting their days from the day they popped through
NCH day 9
MS day 9
CDLC day 5

I made a mistake this evening, in that I didn't let the pH down sit in the water for longer than 5 minutes before watering the plants. I did mix it of course, but was on autopilot (dinner was on the mind) and went right to watering. Not sure if that's going to be a big issue or not. The plants will tell me tomorrow I'm sure.

One question I did have is when the leaves are rolling out as they grow, they are a yellow green, but as they 'age' they become a healthy green. Being the nonplant person I am, I have no idea if this is a potential problem or typical seedling behavior. If I look for a problem online, I'm likely to find something haha

Ok. I'd looked and it showed one thing could be not enough light, or not enough water, or an iron deficiency, but then Im looking at them and they look happy so I'm just thinking keep on keepin on. They dont seem angry at me yet, and I consider that a success so far.

Evening update. Turned exhaust fan on and set to medium on controller. Pulled humidity down from 80 to 65%. 2nd day of proper pH water as well as nutrient feeding. TDS at 500 and pH at 5.7. Plan to bring it to 6.3 by the weekend. Runoff was really high originally. Already coming down, but still around 7.3pH. Few more proper waterings and Im hoping I'll be in the sweet zone.

We have had successful germination of the Sam OG, from soak to sprout right at 48 hours. The water soak until sink, and planted straight in to coco with waterings around the edge and nothing directly over seems to have worked nicely. Kept the jiffy dome over the coco pot to maintain humidity. Will keep for another 24-48 hours as needed.

I didn't notice until uploaded the photos and got a better view but it looks like new growth of the stem below the first fan leafs, on both the NCH and MS. Exciting.

It’s possible to Elmira your plants I’m learning. New goal is to quick checking on them and give them their space. I’ve got teenagers. I get it.:bighug:
