New Grower 4 plant mephisto grow NCH, MS, CDLC, DG x 3BOG

Now they are starting to look right!

Man I just have to quit poking my head in to examine them. Being my first time and total beginner, im in total Elmira mode. I keep looking for something to fix. hard though since I’m so excited to see that explosive growth each day!

you weren’t kidding about them growing though. I’m scared of what that mango might become lol.

Lol I still to this day spend at least two hours a day just staring at my plants. I have the worst helicopter parent syndrome ever! In fact I am goin out there right now to stare at em

Cruisin along, another day, another growth bump. NCH and MS at 12, CDLC at 8, and SamOG at technically day 2 I guess if we count hours, but we'll call it day 3. NCH looks like it may have tried/be flirting with a calcium def. Maybe not. I could be over protective like always and looking for problems.. Same for that SamOG that just sprouted. It's not as dark as the other 3 when they unfolded but every plants different I keep reading so believing thats the case until it proves otherwise.

Gonna keep an eye on this grow, I've got 4 different meph strains going in my 5x5 right now as well. The ones I have going similar to yours are 2 DGx3BOGxSB and I have a NCHxSB going as well that's growth is insane. Only my 3rd autoflower grow so I'm still fairly new to this.

So day 13 for the MS and NCH, day 9 for the CDLC and day 3 for the samog.

This morning it dawned on me, the earlier comments in the thread, about watering these guys. I was going harder than I should have with the watering, misunderstanding it's not til flowering when watering twice a day is likely going to be needed. The fabric had algea growing in it, few stray pieces of perlite were getting it, and the NCH has been looking like she hates life. The MS seems to have been growing at twice the rate of the NCH, but doing some crazy thing with the leaves, literally folding on top of its main blade.

Skipped watering today. Tomorrow morning will be the first 48 hours it has gone without water since planting,. Seems to be less droop going on, so we'll see how tomorrow morning looks.

lots of learning that's for sure. Definitely have notes of what not to do when it's time for that second grow.

Well today we watered. TDS 583 and pH 5.8 - that was 48 hours in between waters. gave each pot the same amount of water (1 quart) as usual and did not get any drain off this time, where as for the last week I was getting close to 13-15% run off on each plant from the same amount of water.

Continuing to try to do as little as possible and document whatever changes do occur.

Got a little closer while checking the temp since it's a hot one compared to what we've had. Girl looked stif as a board a few hours after their watering, and she's shedding that old layer of skin/stem wall. Hopefully that mean's shes happy, especially with all the growth coming up under neath there.

Day 15 for MS and NCH.. First today is the MS... side profile showing her spreading lower branch. She's about to explode I think.. shes 13" wide right now from tip to tip and the NCH is abut 9". Theyre in 55 gallon pots and soomehow I feel like that may be too small in the coming days. I've never grown a plant before but based off other mango's i've seen posted about and similar growth at this stage, im excited to see how it turns out if I can manage to dial in her feeding just right.. tips were showing some brown and yellowing this morning which maybe was due to the pH issues I've slowly been getting figured out. Today's pH in was 6.0 with just cal/mag and pH down and the little run off I got (about 8 fl oz)) registered 6.5 I'll probably hold of on feeding a few more days as I probably was too heavy with it at first.

oh and theyre starting to smell now too. You can smell it when you first open the tent but when you kneel down to them you can really get it... im excited.

Yesterday sucked. Temps got pretty hot, tent was around 90* almost and the humidity was 80% or so. Wasn't able to take care of it due to other commitments.

Mango Smile seems to truck a long no matter what happens, though seems very sensitive to nutrients.. Samsquanch, yellow/green growth and im just like "ok!"

CDLC looking eh, not terrible thats for sure.

But that NCH, she just looks miserable.
