Indoor 2nd Thoughts; Round 2 With THINK DIFFERENT

Yeah purple and/or reddish stems is fairly common, I don't have tons of exp but commenting because this had me really freaked out at first too haha. I've found it guaranteed so far in anything with "blue" or "berry" genes. Another thing that might freak ya out when you see it is the purple "tiger stripes" up the main stalk, sometimes comes along later when purple stems are present. Unfortunately there's a deficiency / lockup that can cause purple stems, but if the leaves and overall plant look good then it's probably fine, like genes or temps :)

Looks like smooth sailing bandit, none of the problems you had with your first grow. If your harvest is much heavier than your first i am going the scrog route from now on. Just built my screen and waiting on your results

Looking good man!! I see you have some purple stems, that makes me feel better, I started noticing the same thing, and thought it was strange because I give the ladies plenty of CAMG+.

What's good with you, Medi?! Thanks for dropping by! My last grow, the purple stems freaked me out because I heard they were a sign of N deficiency. When I saw them on this npkant, I started to trip, but after seeing no ill results over the next couple of days, I'm like, "whatever, man."

Not all stems that turn purple are a problem. Some are genetically predisposed to purple stems. For instance, I grow Kushage on a regular basis and those stems are pretty much a solid purple throughout the entire grow. Generally speaking, if you don't see some other issues with purple stems and your plants seems to be doing fine then it is probably genetic.

One thing to keep in mind, correcting problems when you have none will give you some.

One other thing I thought of, cold weather will give you purple stems. It is strain dependent also but when it starts dipping in the 60's F it will make them do that.

It's always good when you come through and drop some knowledge on us, A4. Thanks for confirming that it's more than likely not an issue at all

Leaves are good, plant is good, I'm good, it's all good!

Wzup, Shack?! Yeah, bro, if everything continues as it's going now, I should be seeing a big increase in yield, so get your screen ready! Last plant, I had 19 bud sites, with each one having access to various levels of light. This go, I have almost twice as many bud sites sitting right at the top of the canopy, all getting pretty much direct light. Yeah, I'm betting your screen will be getting some good use soon!

The screen is working nicely bro she likes it rough... but dont they all ;} lol :BottomBeater:

:Haha: Yes, they do indeed! LOL

Thanks, Sky! She seems to be filling the screen in nicely! She should be done soon, and then it's time to watch her sit and put on some weight

Hey Bandit. Nice to see the screen filling up for you mate. Looking healthy and getting huge :)

Thanks for stopping through, G! Bro, I just give her her nutes, then get out of the way, and let her do her thing! Except for an occasional tuck and feed, she don't even need me! LOL!

Brother Bandit, yer scrog is looking right Mint! Can't wait to see her fill out and go bud nuts!!
Have a great week, Dude!

Happy Monday, Wax! Thanks for stopping through nice and early! I peeked in on her this morning before leaving, and she looks like she is just waiting to explode! Things look like they are gonna be getting exciting soon, bruh. Stay tuned!
