Indoor 2nd Thoughts; Round 2 With THINK DIFFERENT

No problemo, bro! Quite the nice mix you got growing, Noods! I can't wait until I get a bigger grow cab so I can get some variety going on! It's time I graduated past 1 plant, 1 strain per grow.

How is she doing bandit?

She's looking good, Shack! Thanks for asking. Here's a pic from today:

Looking lovey bro!

Hey, Bayou! Thanks for stoppin' thru, my man!

Looking good man!! I see you have some purple stems, that makes me feel better, I started noticing the same thing, and thought it was strange because I give the ladies plenty of CAMG+.

I can't seem to stop purple stems either despite feeding calmag+ maybe some of the more experienced guys could offer some advice on preventing it??

Not all stems that turn purple are a problem. Some are genetically predisposed to purple stems. For instance, I grow Kushage on a regular basis and those stems are pretty much a solid purple throughout the entire grow. Generally speaking, if you don't see some other issues with purple stems and your plants seems to be doing fine then it is probably genetic.

One thing to keep in mind, correcting problems when you have none will give you some.

One other thing I thought of, cold weather will give you purple stems. It is strain dependent also but when it starts dipping in the 60's F it will make them do that.

Thanks A4.. that explains a lot!!

No worries brother, the more strains you grow the more weird stuff you see. I had some cuttings last year that would grow a small bud right in the center of a fan leaf every time. Right where the leaf fingers touched the stem I would have a small flower. Strangest shit I ever saw. After talking with a few other people that had grown the plants previously I realized it was inherent to that strain.
