Exactly, JAYAR. Just like BBQ, slower is better. I wanted to turn on the humidifier in my cab, on low, but I was scuured! Thought I might mold my buds. This time around, if I hang dry, I'm gonna leave off the extra day, and man up and use the humidifier to slow down the drying process
I'm on day 5 of drying my buds, just in paper bags with shredded paper inside. I usually hang them with a fan blowing, then paper bag but they were drying too fast. This time they have retained all the smell and look much better. They are still drying now and I'm cool with it lol.

How many times a day do you let the buds breathe, and for how long? Do you just open up the bag, or do u pour the buds out? Are all of the buds broken down, or are you do you have whole buds drying?

Wzup, AFN fam? Hope all are well. Just a quick update, sinci I been slackin' lately.
I woke up yesterday and my little lady was looking rather limp, like some day old lettuce. She had lost all of her sexy, so I fed her a solution of (per liter) 1 ml of Take Root, 2 ml of Multi Total, 3 ml of both A and B Grow, and 2.5 ml (total) of CalMag. The solution was pH'd at 5.9, the soil was at 6.6, and the runoff was at 6.8. A few hours later, my little lady had her sexy back.
I followed that up, this evening, with a little treat for her sugar craving that she has; 5 ml (per liter) of molasses and organic blue agave nectar, half and half. Not enough to see runoff, just enough to satisfy her sweet tooth.
This scrogging is pretty cool, and I've been getting pretty bold with some of my tucking, manipulating some of the branches into 90°, or less, changes of direction. I try to map out in my mind, the direction I want the branches to end up, but when it's time to tuck, sometimes that direction is no longer an option! I've been using chopsticks and shish kebab skewers to help me hold some stubborn branches down, and she's just getting more wild and fighting back harder each day, and I love it!
I'm trying to get some of the branches that are out towards the edges, to move towards the center so I can tighten things up under the most concentrated area of light, before the stretch stops. Man, I wonder what that cab is gonna look like 30 days from now! Thanks for tuning in, y'all stay cool and be eazy.

The bags are not sealed at the top, they are closed but air can get in and out. I usually just shake the bag lightly once a day. It's golfball sized nugs or smaller. I don't get them out or anything, don't want to mess with them too much. It's working well and can honestly say they smell as good as they did on the vine lol.

I tried, G! I honestly did! I keep getting lost in the foliage, losing track of my count! I know I have at least 35, give or take a few. I swear, I'm a scrogger for life!
Thanks for the info, Dazed. I think I may give the paper bag method a go, or at least incorporate a paper bag into my dry. Maybe the first 2 days on the line, and finish up in a bag. We'll see soon enough!:Sharing One:
I'm pretty pumped, myself! I can't wait to see the buds putting on that weight, getting all sticky n iced out!
