Muddy, what's the life expectancy of the carbon filter for effective odor control?

Not really sure. I've had mine for almost a year and it's still doing fine.

Ok

Now this will be mounted on the outside or inside with the filter being on the outside?

Again, I've not made any decisions, just gathering info.

Joe, according to the info on the website for the filter I posted, it's supposed to last for 18 months running full-time.

The fan can be either inside or out. The filters are more effective pulling air thru them, instead of pushing air out of them, if that makes since to ya. Have the filter inside the growing area.

Will this do for a small grow

I wanted to check with you guys and see if this would be sufficient for my small grow. I will only grow 2 to 3 plants.

A good thing to keep in mind is that, exept in high heat situations, you really only need to replace all of the air in your grow space every five minutes. Measure your space and compare to the cfm rating on the fan. It is possible to have too much fan your plants wont grow very well in a wind tunnel, an you would be wasting power too.
