Mephisto Genetics 2 Deep Dlue C, 2 Sour cracks( title changed first grow)

Yeah you will find yourself second guessing yourself a few times growing but the more you learn the more confident you will become, my first couple of grows i was happy just to make it to harvest without killing the girls and having some ok smoke at the end of it.

Should start a journal as its a great way to keep track of your grow and if at anytime your in need of help all the info needed to point you in the right direction will be there.

No matter where you cut her at this age she is just going to shrivel up and die off anyways, so nice and slow and where you feel comfortable doing it.

I have thought about it and probably will. Is it possible they are on the same root system? The secound sprout is doing better. Still haven't cut her. Lol I know I probably should but I have a couple more beans Iif it didn't work out. Was waiting for somebody to convince me to keep both.

If they aren't on the same root system then I could see the reason to cut. If they somehow work off the same root system then maybe they both servive? Seemed attached but can't tell since they germinated in the jiffy.

Cool will be interesting to see hows she grows out then, as i said cutting is what i would personally do but cant see much harm to to be had of leaving them either, they will most probably be separate root systems as the two i had were coming from two individual tap root straight from the seed, but those two times are the only i have come across this so maybe someone who has grown out bigger batches of plants and has come across it more might chime in if it is possible to have a fully conjoined twin from the stem sharing the same root system, i know @mephisto mentioned in the past he has come across this during breeding so he might be able to shine some more light on what he has seen.

I'm going to just let them be until maybe Mephisto chimes in with maybe some experience with two mutants like you said. If nobody does by tonight I probably will cut the younger sister knowing it will at least give me the 1 plant. Just the thought of it possibly working out for both girls makes me want let them go. Think it's awesome! I really appreciate your input so far. I will throw up another picture if anyone wants to see them again or progress to better determine what I should do? Probably need to put them in there final bucket soon. (Smaller jiffy's).

Sorry about grammer erros doing this all on my phone.

Yeah mutations although no always desired can be pretty cool, keep us up to date with how it works out for you. Might want to check out the following link, has some nice info on cannabis mutation you may find.

Thank you for the link. Wish I could separate them. If I left them how bad would it stunt the stronger one? Not sure that's a valid question to many variables. Haha

Well I tried to pull her gently again and and she broke from somewhere under the jiffy. So I prety much killed her. Will try and transplant buy obviously chances are none. The bigger girl will go on.

Oh and I made a rookie mistake on one of the other girls saw the root was coming out so went to transplant and the jiffy broke in two splitting the root. Doh!!!! Pretty sure she's a gonner. I learned that fast dang it! Haha

So I put them in there final pots because if I touch them they might die. Lol hope 1 of the two girls ( one being the mutant) that I broke somehow servive if not we'll doh. Hahaha I'm sure somebody will ready this and laugh and say you rookie.

So the mutant I pulled and broke died the sister mutant may be stunted a little. The one I broke while transplanting died as well. Stupid me. Started another DBC. Both Sour cracks are trucking along and growing first set of leafs ( out performing her. DBC mutant sisiter. Sorry for making this thread and then having these problems and nothing cool to show for it. Lol I'd delete it if I knew how or could. Anyway, if my little girls make it a little further I'll start a journal I think.

I feel yah, Nicker...my DBC went twin seedling as well...2 sprouts, then one died off in order to focus efforts on the stronger one...then it basically topped itself when the second set of leaves came out conjoined and didn't allow for a path up with the
main stalk....a terminus. So I cut that off and this is what happened...

and one of the dual main colas was a bull-headed, double-wide monster...

I guess the takeaway is that it takes all kinds ;) Just let em flourish and support their uniqueness, LOL!
