Hey all. Just thought I'd post a couple pics of my 1st octopot grow. Wanted to try a different grow style to try and simplify things so my last grow I bought a 4 pack of the ac infinity selfwatering bases. I used the rain science 5 gallon bags to grow 2 Mephisto Polar Bear Og and 2 Manbearalienpig using grow dots. That grow went pretty good and the girls turned out nice, but having to fill the bases nearly every day through flower was a hassle and kind of messy. The girls were definitely bigger vs my usual grows using grow bags and top watering with NFTG nutes though.
So this run I'm running Mephisto Crinkle Crunch on the left and Fairy Cake on the right using 6 gallon Octopots with a 60/40% mix of Happy frog and perlite. For nutes im using grow dots again with calmag plus, silica blast during veg, and flower fuel during flower in the res. I top watered once using recharge when I transplanted into the octpot and haven't top watered at all since. The girls are on day 45 and this grow couldn't be easier. Crinkle Crunch is 34 inches tall and Fairy cake right around 2 ft. I'm really loving the ease of these Octopots so I think I'll stick with them from here on out.
Oh and the bonus pic is from a double grape grow I did where I found a few seeds in the bud from like 3 years ago and put them in a medicine bottle in the basement and forgot about them. Well I found the bottle and decided to plant 4 of them to see what happened. All 4 not only popped but they all autoflowered and grew some nice sticky bud in 2 gallon pots. I was pleasantly suprised
