11 day auto seedling with Ca def and N tox? What should I do please?

... You should be feeding and caring for the plant based on its needs. I know it's tough for new growers to do, but that has to happen at some point! As for now. I would just watch the new growth for now and cut back on the calmag...

Thanks! Will do that! And really, what you say is what i had been dong in the past but i have become lazy... will fix this i promise!

It would be my guess that low RH is the cause of the first spots. If the stomata of the plant are closed to preserve moisture the plant stops respiring which means it cannot carry any calcium into a rapidly growing plant. This mimics a deficiency even though plenty of calcium is available in the coco. In a true defieincy 50 PPM in a single foliar application is plenty done no more often than once a week.

hmm ok... I knew RH could have had a part in it! I did forget about keeping track of RH and it was way too low... but now that it has been almost a day with higher RH i can tell she looks better. Good to know about the foliar too!

Thanks so much you all!

... i would start now by next feeding measure your run off see whats your coco is holding to what your putting in

With input water at 390 ppm ( 70 tap, 250 MC1, 70 calmagpro), pH 6.09, today i got runoff at 203 ppm, 6.93 pH.

Raising RH seemed to help, and I think no new spots have shown up. Here is the plant today, day 14:

Thanks again all for you input!

Hmm... plant keeps growing, but I see new spots coming up on recent growth/5 blade leaves (not evident in the pictures, sorry) and one coty is showing a brown stain/spot on its edge today. New growth doesn't seem to have any yet, though.
Here are some pics of today (day 16):

Going back to previous runs in same settings, i noticed I never gave more than 50 ppms of CalMag Pro and even had noted that once i went over that, i started getting Ca def... why am I so dumb!!! @Proph must've been right.. but i was too stuborn and on last watering I just reduced from 100 ppms of Calmag to 70 ppm instead of taking it out completely as recommended.

For now I plan to do my next watering/fertigation in about 4 or 5 days. I plan to just use MC1 at 350 or 400 ppm + 70 ppm of the tap water (total 420-470 ppm). Any inputs please? @St. Tom

BTW, On monday i fertigated with input water at 390 ppm ( 70 tap, 250 MC1, 70 calmagpro), pH 6.09, and got runoff at 203 ppm, 6.93 pH.

growbro they look great to me just keep going as you are and try not to worry so much also i don't use megacrop but i know a few who do and swear by it @Nosias @Dabber @pop22 also with me growing in coco with sanlights i often add a touch of calmag to at least half of my feeds

Ok, thanks! I do tend to overthink things and miss small details that would save me a lot of stress... it's the first time i get Ca def symptoms so early so it's tough seeing her with those symptoms, but she keeps growing and i keep reminding myself and learning the improtant details! Plants are awsome.

and they're quite tough fuckers and if you need me bro you know were i am just tag me

Too much Ca can cause lockout. Cutthe cal mag to 30-40 ppms and you'll be fine. Your using MC version 1 yes? This girl was fed MC 1.0 start to finish with 30 ppms of added cal/mag.

Breath. Hold. Release. Repeat.

They will do great. you have them started just fine. Breath and watch them. Spend some time talking to them and then they may talk back. So for now all is good just listen with your eyes.

@pop22 @Mañ'O'Green @St. Tom @Nosias Sorry to bother again... please some input if you can:

Plant keeps growing, but leaves in the branches from nodes 1 and 2 started showing symptoms of Ca def too, while new leaves from nodes 5 and newer don't have any symptoms.

I've been doing 1:1 slurry tests since last Saturday by digging about 2 inches into the pot for the sample, using distiled water (ph 6.7, 13 ppm) and I'm getting pH of 5.1-5.4 and 600-650 ppms... this has to be part if not the main cause of the symptoms i'm getting, right?

I water with pH in the 5.8-6.2 range, usually between 6.0 and 6.2... and my input ppms have never been beyond 470.

Should i try to bring the pH of the coco higher with a higher input pH (6.3-6.4 or more)? And in terms of the input EC... i shouldn't increase more for a while, should I?
