I held off on the rice, too many carbs for me. Ms MOG diggs the rice.

Looks good been awhile since we've had some rice. Everyone is trying to do as much low carb as possible again. It's hard to cook for everyone
as part of the family is diabetic and rest of us are fine. I'll post up the stir fry birthday dinner pics soon as I get back on my phone.

I was at Wally World the other day and spotted Turkey Chili no beans. I have not been able to get it since before Covid. I bought 4 cans. Promptly came home and put some Pip Corn chips in a bowl, a slice of Kraft Deluxe American Cheese, 3 cheese dogs cut up and 1/2 a can of the Hormel Turkey Chili over the top. Bam!!! a Frito Boat. I was about to top off with another slice of cheese when:doh: I better check for gluten :finger: I found some. It is listed as wheat protein. It is not the end of the world but that has been a 10 minute go to since the microwave oven came out. I mean 10 minutes from the thought to the first bite:rofl:.I might have famished in college without it.

I have been eating more out of the freezer to make some room as I do not like to can meat. I now have space for my own turkey chili. It will be different than the canned because the chili powders I have access to are different.

Mothers Day dinner as requested of BLT's. We got them on steak rolls and the low carb versions on lettuce wraps. 6lbs of bacon cooking on the Blackstone griddle.

Another day of using the Blackstone Pro Series Griddle. Today we did Philly style cheese steaks. Got red onions sliced and sautéed in some bacon fat. Decided to skip the bell peppers. Buttered up the section to toast the steak rolls. Then got the mound of sliced steak going with a blend of spices sprinkled on. Separated into individual portions before putting cheese on to melt. Got some on rolls and the low carb option meat plate. Then wife made some low carb jicama fries.
