Another day of using the Blackstone Pro Series Griddle. Today we did Philly style cheese steaks. Got red onions sliced and sautéed in some bacon fat. Decided to skip the bell peppers. Buttered up the section to toast the steak rolls. Then got the mound of sliced steak going with a blend of spices sprinkled on. Separated into individual portions before putting cheese on to melt. Got some on rolls and the low carb option meat plate. Then wife made some low carb jicama fries.

Ok we brined the chicken thighs overnight in a dill pickle oil brine before I tossed them on the grill.. Then made brussel sprouts on the griddle with some bacon fat. Wife made mock mashed potatoes with cauliflower heavy whipping cream and parmesan cheese.

How was the flavor on the chicken. I have never used Dill pickle flavor on it.

We got a mix of steaks pulled from the deep freezer. They were put in the sous vide at 132f for 4hrs and seared finished on the griddle with butter. Also did broccoli on the griddle with some bacon grease butter combo. All turn out great without any leftovers.

We've done it a few times. I think it works better on boneless skinless chicken breast that gets sliced in half. Most the family like the flavor as it has a slight dill pickle taste. Only reason we've tried this is seen something saying Chick-fil-A soaks their chicken in dill pickle juice.

I have done chicken hundreds of ways but that is a new one on me. I don't like Chick-fil-A but that does not mean I might not like the dill pickle flavor on chicken. The next time I eat the pickles out of the jar I have to give this a whirl!

I think you'll like it.
And not just dill but try the other pickles juice too. It's all good for marinating:pass:
