Fast Buds Girl scout cookies & tangie

Cheers bud, pots are filled with straight clay pebbles
:pass:

Wow :smoking: that’s crazy man, proper hydroponics

so are there draw backs with clay pebbles, do you run a Pythium supplent like hydro guard,

Im just wondering do the root grow into the reservoir? becuse there’s must be a drainage. For the water too return

The results are really good too be honest, the amount of air in the root zone must be amazing. I bet you have too change the time more frequently in flowering stage.

it’s defiantly something I would consider. In the future. I’m just deciding between auto pots vs Wilma

And generously sprinkled with a wee bit of woody magic :pighug: :d5: :vibes:

Yea mate its full on hydro. The only real draw back with clay pebbles is they need a really good washing before you use them or you end up with a res full of rock dust. That can mess with ph and im sure isnt good for the pump.
I use a product called sm-90 to keep a sterile res but its discontinued now so will prob use silver bullet next time.
Would use hydroguard but its hard to find in the uk.

Theres little drainage holes in the chanel below the pots but the roots just seem to circulate round the bottom of the pots. Also i lift and turn them every day or so.
I drilled 2 inch holes in one of my other wilmas to purposely let the roots grow into the res but didnt see any improvement in plants. Plus the rootball was bigger than the holes so couldnt lift the plants of the res without destroying roots.

Yea mate the roots are constantly getting air once roots are out through the rockwool cube its impossible to over water.

I have been growing with a wilma for 5 years plus now and only used autopots once.
(didnt turn out great for me)
If dialed in theres a lot less work with autopots.
Main problem with the wilma is that because the plants sit on top of the res you need to move all 4 somewhere to clean the res.
Where the autopot res can sit nicely out of the road.
Sorry for the essay mate!

I stumbled across your grow looking at "New Posts." Great job as usual growbro! :d5:
The Tangie looks like some fire smoke! :fire: Too bad about culling some of the GSC, I had the same problem last grow with FB Chemdawg. I was going to ask about the SM-90. I'm on my last litre and you can't find it in the us anymore. :pass:

Hey mate, yea the tangie is pretty tasty for sure. Yea 5 out of 8 was a real let down.

Nutrilife have a replacement product called supermoist. Its expensive but more concentrated so should last longer (to expensive to ship to uk/ireland)

I'm not sure being more concentrated justifies over a 400% price increase. Almost $100 us for a quart and I paid $75 for the last gallon of SM-90 I bought. I really like the stuff, but I don't think I like it that much! :nono::pass:

It does seem more expensive but its used at 0.1ml per litre and sm90 at 0.5ml per litre so 1 quart will make you nearly 10,000 litres. So it makes way more than the old gallon did.

Someone might need to check that :baked:

I think that would come out to 0.50 ml per gallon, compared to the 1 1/2 to 2 ml per gallon I was using. I may have to rethink this and double check my math when I'm not stoned. lol :pass:

Yes the super moist is more expensive but it much more concentrated. I started using it a few months ago and concluded that it is a bit more economical to use vs the old SM-90

First plant trimmed today (day 65)
My pics are pretty crap need to think about some better lighting.

Was surprised with the wet weight on her, 865g wet so maybe 7.5oz dry buds were very solid and smell pretty dank. Real test is in the smoke bud quality is the best ive grown in a while. Which i didnt want to admit after the others not autoing.
