New Grower New to Growing, Have many questions.

So I'm new to growing autos, I have down hours of research but just still don't feel like I know what to do to produce the biggest yields and best growth. So please go easy on me if I am making a mistake. I Have already bought most of my things just waiting on my seeds to come in. The seeds I bought were Sweets dark devil auto fem and Advanced Auto Blue diesel auto fem. My tent it is a 3x3x7 and my light is a 400w watt HPS/MH w/ a cool tube.The lighting schedule I have planned is 20/4 for the first 3-4 weeks and then switching to 18/6. I plan on planting them in a 3 gallon grow bags from germination in OF with a 30% mix of perlite with a small layer of perlite on the bottom for better drainage. Ventilation with a carbon filter and a 175 CFM inline blower. My main question is should I start my seedlings with voodoo juice to enhance root growth also thought about using root juice because I plan on using biobizz Nutrients? Whats the best nuts schedule? Another question of mine is have any of you used hempy buckets before, thought about doing a few of mine in that maybe and trying that out seeing if it brings up my yield. Please tell me if I'm setting myself up for failure I want to make sure I have done good research.

Sounds like you got a lot going on and have done your homework so good for you..... I dont use voodoo so I cant help with that but I can tell you since its your first auto run that getting 50 percent out of a plant is better than 0..... meaning most of the times less is more with these gals..... dont jump straight in trying to create a monster and over feed and burn them up take it easy at first go lightly with ferts some take them well some dont but they will let you know quicly.... good luck

If you look up duck commander on here he has several schedules for biobizz. Also if you email them they will send you a schedule for autos. I just ordered the biobizz starter pack and I'm going to follow ducks second schedule on his thread although I did email biobizz for their schedule I will then compare.

The only way to really learn how to produce big yields is by growing so np!

most people only use root juice when when the are seedlings. using it at germinating until 2 weeks after will really make those roots take off like rockets! so yes use it.

The best nutrient schedule is your eye. Don't take nutrients too far nor too low, your plants will tell you what they need learning to anticipate that is an art!

Use these buckets if you want to, starting of in just soil and a pot is easier tho you'll already have a lot to think about.

you can also just look up bio bizz nutrient schedule on google and you'll find that there. The starter pack also includes a schedule. Just remember that schedules are a guideline not a must. You'll be yielding bigger giving nutrients based on stages of the plants life than using a schedule.

Illbethere is 100% right. I have learnt quick just how touchy autos are. Even among different phenos of the same strain a certain schedule might burn some and leave others untouched. I would try to read as much as you can about other grows of the strains you got and try to find out what they like. But yea watching the plants and letting them teach you what they want is key. Do that and it wont be long till you are burning your own and plenty of it

Thank you atrain, illbethere, Fantasy island & autobliterate for all your feedback, I feel the stress going away already. I have done much more homework since yesterday and I'm out for success.. I feel, I look up the biobizz feeding schedule and starting out with 1/4 of the recommended dose because I've read that OF has lots of nuts already and can burn your plants if not careful I think soil and not the hempy buckets is the way to go for me at least for my first batch of grass, maybe ill try it next time I really don't wanna overwhelm myself with so many new things. Thanks again guys and Ill make sure to make a thread for my first grow when it starts up next week for whoever cares.

Didn't know if someone could help me with a question I have, I went to the locale hardware store where I picked up some 3 gal buckets to grow my plants in because they're taller rather then fatter so I thought they would work perfect for growing autos but the are light blue. I also bought some grow bags online which showed up today which is a little shorter then the buckets. My question is do you all think I should go with the blue buckets which I'm worried I might show some light to the roots which I thought might be bad or should I go with the shorter bag which is not as sturdy as the buckets and isn't as tall??

Have a look at plant magic old timer orgaic nutrience I find them to be alot better than biobizz personally.

Found I get some lock out with biobizz if I don't use Epsom salts

With the light schedule I have found it best to stick with 20/4 for the whole way through but everyone seems to do diff
