I have raised cows, sheep, goats, pigs, pigeons, quail, pheasants, rabbits and chickens, Chicken shit is the worst followed by pig's. The chicken shit would even permeate rubber boots.

The Pepperoncini I pickled last year are smashing success, everybody loves them. They are a bit too soft for my personal preference but they spread on toast, so there is that.

This year I am planting a different variety that is supposed to be a medium wall pepper. They should pickle a little bit crisper, at least I hope. They are in the shade garden hardening off to get planted. I got 10 out of 16 to germinate - not bad for peppers.

The potatoes are coming along nicely.

I got the last SSSC Auto White Widow ready to go into the Grove Bags to cure, it cam in at a respectable 161g. The only plant in the 8/4 experiment to be normal weight.

We pretty much grow strawberries for the birds and blueberries for the chipmunks since they always get to them before we do

Hope I don’t offend but critters after my stuff is why I have a very precise air rifle.
