I use this with good results:

If your tap water is over 200PPM You should put a water softener system in front of the RO system. The water softener works by replacing the calcium ions with sodium ions. The RO system can easily remove the salt whereas high calcium levels will wear out the RO membranes much faster.

I didn't think the plants I made the hash with was more leaning sativa, but it sure as hell acts like it's heavy sativa!I'm wired!......and it's been hours!
