So, to continue this little project we are going to try our hand at some liquid culture. Starting out with a quart mason jar, poured almost 500ml in it and started warming that in a water bath on the stove.

Lid is just on and not screwed down at all.
When it's warm enough, dry and place on the scale, zero scale, pour in 20 grams of Karo, then a gram of peptone and stir.

OK, all mixed, separated into the 3 jars, lids loosely placed on and tin foil applied.

Into the insta pot for 45 minutes.
