Do you have an organic PH down for your coco?
I have a feeling that the Nitric Acid in PH down (or Phosphoric) will not do the organics any favours .. I have something in my mind saying it should be done with citric acid (lemon juice).

My Biobizz soil will buffer to some degree, and the water i'm using has been tested on a couple of biotabs grows.

Just an after thought as you're doing coco! ^_^

I didn't think PH'ing was necessary? Haven't been doing so anyway

Hmmm .. It's not necessary in soil like biobizz that's PH buffered .. although i try to find a water that is close to "in range" for nute uptake. My bottled tesco water is 6.2 which is just right for a seedling.
When she gets bigger, i'll start using my tap water and save a couple of quid!

In coco without any PH buffers ... I would have assumed you'd still need to follow the nute uptake range 5.8-6.2 for best results.

As a caveat to this ... I've only ever used chem nutes in coco (Canna CocoA&B .. Dutch Pro etc) .. I could be wrong!

Hoping this is correct!

'The BioTabs Nutrient Line, designed to be used with either soil or coco coir, is an optimal alternative to transform the lifeless coco fibers into a rich and live substrate which only needs to be watered with tap water, without regulating the pH level or adding more nutrients. Micro-life and beneficial bacteria balance and ensure proper uptake of the available nutrients in the substrate.' - alchimiaweb

Yeah, hopefully that's right!
Have a look at this thread - Ryker has done some good testing with Biotabs.

It seems that the coco grows get more difficult starts .. but in the end everything levels out!

It's tough to always have perfect good plants. Yours got what takes to be very rewarding though, I can tell
